yes, but why rush it...but then again driving in LA can kill you faster than smoking...add drinking too that then it goes up by 300%...

how does it "rush it"? Smoking takes years and years and years to start taking long term effects. You listen to too many of those 2nd hand smoke commercials where they say "just 1 inhalation of a cigarette 2nd hand begins to affect your body."

Christ...it's not like cigarettes are Cloves. THOSE things will kill you...it's like smoking fiberglass.

it doesn't take years and years it only takes a few months.

woah!!! easy there fella...unless i've read it wrong, and i like to think i'm not...but smoking can take years off your lifespan by at least 5 to 10 years...that's what i meant by "rush it"...and 2nd hand smoke is a farce...scare tactics...never believed it never will...

yes by all means enjoy your life...smoking or not...but why start if you don't need to? that was the topic....

i just realized my siggy with JD with a ciggy...don't let that fool you in thinking it's cool...

if you smoke for months and then quite and live a healthy life style, it will only take a few months for your lungs to be almost 100% replenished.

Smoking for a few months when you are 20 will have NO impact on you physically at the age of 40.

5-10 years is the number produced for people who smoke upwards of 2 packs a day. Anyone that smokes 40 cigarettes in a day...deserves to lose 5-10 years from their life.

Casual smokers have been said to lose between 2-4 years...and that isn't exactly what i would call "rushin it"

point taken... 😛

*agrees*

people who smoke (as harsh as it sounds) don't deserve life if they make themselves ill, much like people who are alcoholics should not be taken for liver transplants before people who are not alcoholics...if you get me.

double poster! double poster!...hehe...j/k mate

I started smoking when I was 14...yes 14 and seeing as I am now 32...that is 18 years !

So if you take on average that I smoked 10 cigarettes a day...

That means that I have smoked 65,700 cigarettes !
Now figure in that here in Chicago I have been paying on Average $2.50 for a pack of Cigarettes which consists of 20. Therefore I have spent $8,200 on cigarettes. Yikes !!!

Good thing I have quit and haven't had a cigarette in 58 days ! 💃 That means I have saved myself $72.5

man i wish i could do the math on the amount of alcohol and....umm..."other" smoking product. I bet it's easily $300 a month....easily

where the hell do you get all that money from. and why waste it?

Well, I work...that is where all the money came from.

And it was a habit...and one that I am glad that I have kicked.

With the amount of money that it has cost me...what do I have to show for it ??? Nothing...absolutely nothing !!!

*begins to wonder how I started smoking in the 1st place*
