I am stunned at only four BSG mentions, best show ever by a mile.

BSG started out well enough, but it just kept going downhill until it became absurd crap.(I assume we're talking about the re-imagined BSG)

I could not disagree more, it was perfectly in line with the original show, the religious elements have always been crucial to the Galactica story. Even then they explain the 'god' that was in play the whole time in BSG: Razor.
