Tela looked at him. "The only other sword in existence that is like mine belongs to my brother."

"But not the gem." said Vash.

"What?" Tela asked.

"There couldnt be just two of the same types of Gems. THere are much more from the cavern they were from. Litterally. From what I know. And no im not trying to make me look smart"

"This gem is different, Vash." Tela said. "There is no other like it."

"ya vash" jak said sticking his tongue out

Tela blinked. "What is up with you two?"

"Well anyway, thats the Anuylen biggie secret?" asked Vash.

Tela shook her head. "Somethings are better left unknown."

"You tell me, Ill tell you about a place I can call home, and people I can call my people"

Tela shook her head. "This gem is part of the secret but it will never yield to anyone but an anuylen and only two breathe."

"Comeone. Preety please?"

"quit it vash or you won't live to ask again" jak said

Vash sighed. There was no reason to tell him her secret if she wouldnt. "So Tela, what was your fiances name?" asked Vash.

Tela blushed. "Haldir." she pelies gently touching her lips with her fingertops obvously lost in a memory.

Vashs eyes widened, he looked down at his hands. "What war did he go to when he dissapeared??" he asked in a trembeled voice.

Tela blinked back renwed tears of her own as she whispered it.
