Vash stode up and took the elflings hand.

The elfling laughed softly. "Vash." he said.

"Ergh... How did you know my name?" asked Vash.

The elfling shrugs. He points to Tela. "Tela tired."

"...So isnt there a place she can rest?" asked Vash.

The elfling nodded and unsteadily tugged Vash towards one of the houses. He pointed towards the doorway. "nana nín" he said basically telling vash to ask his mother who was inside.

"What?" asked Vash.

The child led him inside. "Momma."

A lady with long brown hair turned. She curtsied. "Welcome to our humble home, traveler. How may we help you?" she asked softly.

"Well... Ma'm... See... Me and Tela need a place to stay..." said Vash.

The woman's eyes widened. "Of coarse, anything for a friend and her friend. You two can stay here." she said. "Is Tela okay?"

"Yeah... I'll go and get her right now..." said Vash before going outside to find Tela.

Tela was playing her flute for the children.

Vash signaled Tela to come. He looked around at the children. God, his dreams of being a father have alot of reasons... He thought.

Tela told them that she would play for them after she rested. The children didn't seem upset by it. They went back to playing as she walked over to vash. He could probably tell that she was about to faint from exhaustion.

Vash smiled before he led Tela inside the little elfings mother's house.

Tela gasped when she saw her old friend. They hugged each other. "I thought you were dead."

"Many of us escaped after what you and the others did." the woman said. "Now come. You are weary from the gem. I can see it in your eyes. Let me show you to the guest room. Coming, sir?"

Vash nodded as he followed Tela and Tela's old friend.

The woman showed them to a two beded room. "You can stay here if you like."

"Well...Thank you Ma'm..." said Vash before laying down on one of the beds.

Tela passed out on her bed.
