The Dark Tavern

Sakura held onto Yue's hand and followed Ryo as they began walking through the forest.

Lady Elise Roose of Pondicherry trotted down the well-laid road and shook her head disdainfully as a group of travelors passed her until Lady Elise said, "Lady Sakura, what are you doing traveling with a group of peasants like them?" Elise reigned her horse in until she looked directly into the eyes of a girl she had played with when she was younger at Elise's country estate in north Pondicherry.

Sakura blinked. "Um, for one thing, these people are not peasants. Please never call them that, or I'll get," Sakura searched for that one word Vash used before. "I'll get very pissed off."

"And, if I may ask, what are you doing traveling alone out here?"

Besides the swear, Sakura acted very ladylike. It was hard after spending so much time after spending so much time without properness(is that a word? lol).

~Pondicherry? I can't even remember that 😂~

Tela sneered. "How dare you!" She told this lady speaking to Sakura. "None of us are peasants except maybe you."

(Elise doesn't like people lower than her rank so please don't get offened if she's mean. After a while, she becomes easier to deal with.)

Lady Elise winced when Sakura said pissed. "Very well, Sakura, the reason for my traveling is to reach a school of Shadsbury, that I will be attending. I don't want to go but you can't say such a thing like that to your parents now can you?" asked Elise as she stepped down from her mare, Missy, and shook out her long red hair from its uncomfortable place atop her head in a bun. "My parents decided that if I went there that I would be easier to deal with."

Elise laughed at this remark before she dusted off her skirt.

Looking at her friend as she dusted off her skirt, she tried to read her facial expressions. From what she could gather her friend tried to hide her blind fury but it showed through like words that can be read on a page.

Vash tried to think of a word. But since Sakura took his best one, he said " Were as much as people as you"

Tela was trembling with rage, and the only thing that kept her from unleashing a onslought of elven curses on this Elise was Turi holding her back.

~Quick point out.

Weren't Vash and Tela in the tavern, and the cherry girl with Sakura and the others on the road to the tavern?~

Sakura shook her head. "Elise havnt you heard? My father died," she said. Sakura looked her straight in the eye now. They were about the same height. "And I'm sorry to say nothing could ever make you easier to deal with," she said, laughing. She knew her behind Elise's arrogance. "But, in fact, I encourage that you dont go! You are never one to be pushed around," Sakura had let her temper cool down. "Guys, this is Elise. Try to look past her arrogance for now; shes always like this at first,"

"Arrogance? Are you talking about yourself?" asked Elise as she began to grind her teeth.

Sakura smiled, rolling her eyes.

Ryo sneered at Elise. "Hey, I remember you little squirt," he said, crossing his arms.

"Sir Ryo, I remember the time you dunked me in the pig slop!" She clenched her fists at her sides as Sakura and Ryo began to laugh.

Missy began to shudder under Elise's touch until Elise looked behind her and saw a small band of bandits on horse back.

Ryo laughed. "I forgot that. Sakura dared me to,"

Sakura nodded, laughing, but stopped as she spotted the bandits.
