Tela’s blue eyes locked on Vash’s as he spoke. She smiled almost apologetically. “Half your problems are my fault.” She says sadly. “I was the one that begged for Rand to be accepted into the group, and then Haldir wouldn’t even be here, if I wasn’t.” She gently pushes a stray strand of her long hair behind her pointed ear. Her dress blew in the breeze making a soft swishing noise. “Vash, I am so sorry. Everywhere I turn I seem to bring such angst and torment to those who I care about.” Her eyes started to fill with tears making her turn her back to him so he wouldn’t see.
Vash smiled a bit, but had a face expression of concern, he walked over to face Tela, and put each of his hands on her shoulders. "Look Tela, none of this your fault. If you wouldn't be here, than would I have so much fun times? No. For all my life all I did is live for survival. Try to do something that interests me. Never had I felt such compassion towards another person, as you know I never had a mother or a father. The point is, I am glad that you are here. And no matter what you do I will always love you"
Tela turned to look at Vash. She could see the sincerity reflecting in those deep pools. “Vash.” she whispered throwing her arms around him and hugging him tightly as her tears finally fell. “I love you too. I just don’t want to hurt you anymore than you’ve already been hurt.”
She then sighed and pulled back. “But I love Haldir too. He’s gone through death and hell to come back, and I know it would just kill him if I told him I didn’t want to be with him. My emotions are overwhelming me. That’s why I keep loosing it when someone fights.”
