Theomer trotted as quietly as possible across the field to the entrance of the tower, finding it quite handily unguarded. He dismounted and opened the door cautiously so as to avoid waking anybody up. He was just going to slip inside, see who was home, and if they had anything valuable, and slip out, he told himself. Right.
Theomer grabbed the hilt of his sword with his right hand, and pulled it out of its scabbard a few inches, checking to make sure it was still there. It was an odd habit he had developed over the years. He pulled back the hood of his cloak, not wanting to seem too suspicious if anybody should see him. In his head he formulated a plan for that possibility... If whoever it was looked strong enough to put up a good fight, he would claim that he was just a hapless traveler looking for a place to sleep.
"Oh, hello sir, excuse me for barging in like this, I didn't expect knocking would do much good in such a large building as this," Theomer said, putting on his "helpless traveler" persona. His blue eyes twinkled in the dim light. "I wonder if you might have an extra bed to spare, and a place to stable my horse for the night?"
Tela stared into Theomer's eyes. Blue eyes piercing blue eyes. She seemingly stared straight into his soul searching for his true reason for being there. Her brown hair fell straight not giving any clues to what she and her lover had just done. "You will have to ask Merlin, the owner of this place." Her voice was eerily calm but cold at the same time.
