( oh and about the 2 alphabets, hiragana is the more curly language out of the 2, and it is used for pure Japanese words, and Katakana, the straighter of the two, is used for words taken from other languages into Jap, and the really confusing looking symbols are Kanji, they are actually chinese characters used in Japan frequently)
