Any Books About Zombies?

I really would appreciate it if anyone can suggest a great book about Zombies?
I prefer stories were the main characters are just ordinary people, like in Romero's movies. None of those Buffy stuffs.

Thanks!

theres books about zombies? i imagine there has to be but don't know of any...

The only one I know is Danish, I'm afraid, and I'm not all that certain it's ever been translated into English. Anyway, the writer is called Dennis Jürgensen and the Danish title is Kadavermarch ( which of course means Cadaver March, no surprise 😛 ) It's about normal people in present day Denmark, so should you manage to find it in English you might like it.

You might try The Rising, by Brian Keene. You can read a review here

You could do worse than "Hansard..."

Its a record of everything that happens during a session of the UK Parliament...

Huh?! What does a UK Parliament have to do with Zombies? Is it that bad?

Thanks for the replies guys.

Gregory, the book "The Rising" is not exactly Romero-ish. The zombies are intelligent! Still, I am willing to give it a try if you recommend it. Have you read it?
