In a random encounter he literally could just crush his armor, he controls metal and without prep you cannot prove doom can do anything to stop being wrecked.doom literally would be crushed like a tin can with no prep and no CIS
with prep is a different story tho
Again, I can show you Magneto disabling other armored opponents easily, in a way he hasn't done it to Doom. Let's say I find an previous scan of Doom preventing Magneto's powers from affecting him. Since we have recent showings of Magneto being stalemated by Doom, that would imply that the old comics remain true to his powerset and you cannot blindly call out CIS without proving some kind of bias.
Does this seem fair to you? If Doom managed to counter his powers before, it'd be up to you to prove he can affect him now. Agreed?

Still you provide 0 scans and do you realize one comic interpretation does not mean mags wont immediately crush his head, in a random encounter magneto destroys him.
Without PIS and CIS and with them both willing to kill when the dinner bell rings, magneto crushes his armor like a tin can. And even if his armor has enchantments then blood is still viable.

Why should I bother on bringing scans if you're going to deny them anyways? It's dishonest to ask for proof that you don't agree with because you'll essentially just waste my time.
Believe what you want, but don't expect to convince anyone by sheer repetition (why would you do that at all is beyond me).

No but I can search the web. How did Doom stalemate Magneto during Children's Crusade?
Doom had Scarlet Witch in his castle and Magneto went to get her back. While the Avengers battled Doom's latverian army, Magneto took it to Victor and they battled each other for a while. After a panel or two -maybe more? I don't remember all the détails-, Iron-Lad arrived and disposed of them both for a short period of time. Magneto had all the motivation to get through Doom, but they were evenly matched.

Gotcha. So nothing specifically mentioned then? Probably just the same equipment that allowed him to defeat Mags in the past then. Doom is generally shown to already have numerous safeguards in place, just in case of random encounters, like with Dracula.
Originally posted by 80sBabyYeah and even more so Magneto was holding his own until he wanted to stop the fight and Iron Man, if i remember correctly, used that to sucker Mags in.
Just want to point out that I'm pretty sure Ironman DID have metal armor on when he fought Mags in AvX. He just had prepared for the encounter and had a reverse polarity shield or something to that effect.
Originally posted by thingy150Relax pal, look it's not like Doom never handled opponents tougher than Magneto. So it's not that easy to say Mags will crush Doom like a tin can nor can you say Doom winning can't be possible without prep.

They were on his home turf, obviously that scan is different than them meeting in a random encounter.
So basically on doom's home land where he has every single advantage imaginable he was only able to stalemate magneto.
magneto wins

Magneto backed by a team full of Avengers, mind you.
Also I've seen Black Panther punk Doom in his very own castle and Magneto himself recently made his way to Doom through Latveria. It seems to me you're trying to put emphasis in something that might not be relevant at all.
Unless you can prove being in Latveria makes Doom inmune to magnetic manipulation of course.

In latveria doom has prepped for almost everything and he has magical protection everywhere.
You can't use doom in latveria to prove anything.
