It was more of a positive statement about her acting ability and finesse than a negative statement about Bond - honest!!!

oh yeah, Bond is not a high-class drama or something, it's made for entertainment with some great stuff in it (secret agent, cars, women, wit, gadgets, ...)
But the advantage with that of course EM, is that since Nicole is "too good", she won't be asked and she won't "ruin" it with her too famous face 😉

and neither will I evy, than I can't gasp at her anymore 😉

I ment since she's "too good to do a movie" (since Bond isn't the best movie of the century), she won't apply for a job, so she won't "ruin it" (as in, Denise and Halle with being too well known)
