I have the most difficult job there is. 😉

I'm on call 24 hrs. a day - most days. I'm told I won't see the big rewards from this endeavour for another 10-20 years! On any given day, my scheduled tasks can change dramatically and without warning.... and I'm not allowed any sick days off unless my partner can miraculously take the time to cover for me. 🙁

I haven't had a vacation in about 5 years. The partner is not usually around when a major crisis hits... but that's not his fault - just circumstance. And, the younger workers are so inexperienced that most days I'm pulling my hair out. 😱
