And he came up with daylight savings {something about conserving fuel in the winter ...}

that is correct, he wanted congress to pass it so that they could conserve energy when there was still daylight to be used 😱

yeah.. i know why is it..
coz this way it was getting lighty in winter sooner..😖 stupid idea imo.

I heard it was for the golfers who wanted more daylight to stretch their golf time in the evening after work. But the only way to sell it to congress was to put the energy savings theme on it. 🙄
