This belongs to the Movie Discussion section

i was thinking about it and kinda thought it worked here.. where they stand is similar to a review of how good it is

As far as I'm concerned, box office results have never been a proof of quality, especially in the U.S where the critics are weak and the advertising campaign huge. But I don't intend to bash your opinion, you if you think so, why not ?

That's approximately 6,000,000 people who are now dumber than two weeks ago.

yea i agree but im glad to see that man on fire is doing well especially for an R rated film

Right thats it, I HATE FILMS, Why? why i ask you? VAN HELSING? 51,000,000 can you imagine what you could do with that money? all because hugh jackman says, "when do i get one of those?" stupid ass films.

van helsing was bad and it should die down in sales quick but people are still gonna see it initialy

Ill admit i went to go see Van Helsing and wanted to punch myself in the face afterwards (but i got in free). I dont think you should hate films because they advertise and try to make money... isnt that one of their sole purposes?

i agree and i also saw it for free as i do a lot of movies at an advanced screening

I read somewhere (cant remember where) that Ven Helsing did good, but isnt doing has good anymore.

It made 54 million in the US. And from all my friends who have seen it, I've heard it's shitty.

yea everyone who saw it, including myself thought poorly of it.. it is droping off fast and troy should really slow it down... it will still prolly make around 20 mill this weekend though
