EMU is a lovely school, I visited there last year when I was applying to colleges, I think you'd like it there a lot.

Ok update.

I actually applied for Michigan and i got the chance to go! 😱😊 im super happy.

However theres a slight problem, only 6 people can go and there are 12 currently wanting to go to Michigan, so im kinda fighting for a place right now, however, looking at my grades my lecturer said there shouldnt be a problem. I just hope i get it now 🙁
