Comeon, Hilary sings very well for the pop style she has chosen! It is that new pop thingy i just can't explain it! Oh one thing: Why does everybody know her if she is a)Horrible singer and b)Horrible actress! Plz answer cz i just cant understand your logical thought!

Everyone knows her because shes in magazines often, she acts in alot of shows and one major reason is that feud between Hilary and Lindsay Lohan. I used to be a huge fan of hers...till recently when Wake Up came out. I only like her acting, and a fair few of her songs.
You're not a fan of Wake Up? I am. She's going back to more of her light pop songs like the Metamorphosis album produced. Which is good. Self-titled was dull. Decent, but dull.

I don't like wake up that much either. It was kind of a change from her second cd. which had "FLY" on it, which is the reason i bought the cd, b/c as soon as i saw the video clip on disney channel i had to get it. It was a mature song beyond her years and I like it a lot, my favorite out of all of her songs. I think she went down on the scale from that song with wake up.
Plus, in the fly video, she still looked like herself. I saw the trailer for cheaper by the dozen and this is the first movie where she keeps that different look with her new mouth. The other movies, she usually looks like herself in the movie and then when seen in magazines and stuff and performances her mouth looks different again but she kept those things in her mouth this time.
She looks so different and way too old and colder and harder in her "Too the beat of my heart" video.
The song is catch though. I didn't like it the first time, but with disney playing the clip so much i finally started to like it. But she looks so different.
TAKE THOSE THINGS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH OR REDO WHATEVER YOU DID TO YOUR MOUTH.
It has changed her whole facial appearance.
Like i said, I really liked "Coming Clean on her first CD, and I really like "Fly" from her second CD, but "wake up" needs to "go to sleep". I'm not a fan of the song or the video.

I've given her second album a re-listen and it's actually pretty good. More mature, but good. I see you're a fan of her mature stuff and that's cool. Fly was a cool song, but I listen to her for her poppier tunes just for entertainment. That's the reason I like her. If I want to listen to something more mature I'll listen to someone else, because those matters mean something to me, if the artist actually has written them.
I was watching a show yesterday and the host was talking about music cds for christmas and then he said "and your lump of coal group of cds" and it showed Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan.
He said they were hardly Actresses and definitely not singers.
I don't like that said about Hilary Duff but oh well, I do like the host, so I have nothing negative to say.

I think it's this kind of forcefulness from people is what drives others away. People get this annoying teeny bopper image. The image that they'll defend her at all costs without placing any argument in to support her and retaliate with "Om6!1!1! you r stupid!1!11!".
She's pretty, but that's about it. She is living, breathing proof that the music industry isn't about singing anymore. And her acting is mediocre at its absolute best. Have you ever seen that episode of Punk'd with her in it? That totally convinced me. Hilary Duff IS Lizzie McGuire. She doesn't need to act because she is just being herself. And all the other roles she's ever done are exactly the same. If you ask me, she's just a talentless product of Disney.
