ONE SQUAD WATCH THE BOTTOM DOOR WHERE THE JUGGERNAUT ENETERED, THE REST OF YOU WITH ME. WE'RE GOING TO THE ENTRANCE AND WHEN THAT DOOR FALLS, THEY ARE GOING TO MEET A SOLID WALL OF LEAD. MOVE!" Ten turned and slapped a fresh clip into his assault rifle while he moved to the entrance, he stopped when he came to Huon. "My threat still stands, you shoot at an elite I shoot at you." Without wating for an answer he moved to the enrance, dropped to one knee and waited.

Axon: Flood contact in two minutes and twent three seconds."

Huon:Whispers to himself "I am combat efficent....D*mn covenant are gunna destroy our hold......I should just take a group of marines and go and find a way off this ring or to that weapon this ring has....*he thinks for a second about destroying the console and keeping information about the ring solely to himself.he plans it for later*
Huon:*look over to the door and gets ready to pull the trigger*I hope all of the attacking flood are the dead elites.i hope they endured much pain...

Huon:And these elites will die like the rest...*then he thinks about what they have done and he starts to think about going away since apparently noone on his team realizes the risk.although there isnt much*

Huon:*as he sat there with only 1 minute till the fight he thought to himself on what to do and realized that he hadnt been a marine for nearly 8 years and knew he wouldnt be that good as he only remembered the basic of tactics like to take cover,heal allies,defend positions,Search and destroy,snipering,weaponry,good but still a little off aim and how to survive on little ammo and food.he knew trhe basics of these things.but when it came to piloting he was a pro.he could land a pelican in this room if the entryway was larger.he then turned on his comm*This is huon.if you have to fall back into the hallways ive mapped intersections with turret platforms.go to those locations and if they reach the medical bay then the station will probably be lost.then go to the hangar and board pelicans except for pelicans Dc-19 and Dc-14 as they are full of ammo and supplies that could last a while.so those must be flown if the base is overrun!*turns off his comm and dashes up the stairs into the side elevator and went down to the hangar level and he got into his pelican that had enough room for 6 occupants and enough ammo and supplies to last 1 or 2 weeks....if they werent assaulted.*

Then he disngaged the landing hold and kept the pelican at exactly 2 fett above the ground and he had it in the opening of the hangar bay door and he put on a general message to all of the spartans detailing that his pelican Dc-17 was ready to airlift them if needed.Then he engaged autopilot and ran across the room and got into the warthog and skillfully drove it into postion(note the warthog is the chaingun one) and then he put it unto the pelican and he checked his gear as he sat in the cokcpit and took a look at the video feeds and sat back with his pistols at the ready if elites were still cloaked and he was attacked.

[]im ready if we have to leave the base or sumthing.also i bet we arent but ya know im just throwing out ideas.like the one where i take some marines and fly off to the control room and also to destroy the console and block off the group at the station from learning about the ring and its abilities and to acquire a bargaining chip if needed.so im not doing anything and if you want to have me do one of my ideas i would be happy to.but be sure since i cant delete.also im thinking about turning to the flood side and being able to coordinate attacks a lot better and then i would be able to make the difficulty of battles increase since i'd know many human tactics and be able to command the flood people better.might be a interesting thing.[]

The Human sat waiting, he had a shotgun, one of the few in the group. He was also a pilot. He wasn't cut for this kinda shit. He knew it, the spartans knew it, the Marine knew it. They also knew that if they got into a Pelican somewhere, he was the best they had, so they gave him the order to stay in the middle somewhere. He was much happy at this request and planned to follow it to the T. Suddenly he heard a knocking. "Shit....That must be the flood." He said, and looked toward the door as it seemed to start to cave inward. "Shit...."

The door shifted as the flood pounded it, when Ten had forced it open it had been moved slightly, but it was back in its original position now. But the relelteless pounding by the flood started to get unnverving, and he knew the other's only had so much nerve, and each pound frayed them even more. "Someone get this door open, I'd rather have it intact after this battle. Scratch that, I'll do it, ready two frag gernades to be thrown as soon as the door opens. And duck when they go off." Ten walked up to the door console and treid his AI,

"Push the buttons...that one there...left...more....ok up....right...left again."

"Ten, we need to find Rae, I'm fear for her safety." Kiyo said walking up beside him. He ignited his energy sword, ready for the enemy on the other side of the closed door.

The pilot was near quivering. "Dammit, Spartan, I'd rather you not get gunned down, sir." He walked over, stood near the console. "Let me do it, your more valuable."

"Axon says Rae is fine. After I get this door open I'll go get her and the other elite." He pushed the last button and he door started to open, he bolted "Gernades fly!" and dropped to one knee and unloaded is Assault Rifle into the mass of infection forms. He spun and ran off to get Rae.

Plo standed up and laughed as he grabbed his imperial staff. A swing towards her head but she blocked with her hands. He kicked her in the chest making her fall down and into a wall. He grabbed his staff harder and backed of. He was prepared for a fight to the death, against this demon. He knew Tekka and Asst where some of the best, and they would pull the other humans trough. He himself was not quite as skilled, but enough to give this demon a good fight.

Ran away before the final button and waited behind a column, his heart racing. "HQ, this is Mendez, come in HQ" Dammit. "Come in HQ!" He turned around to see an infection form slip by and head straight toward him. "AHHH!" He unload two shells before the thing popped and sent a noxious smelling aroma into the air.

Kiyo pushed over mendez and covered his mouth. "You fool! You don't know what those fumes could do to you!" He shouted.

Huon:*sees the battle on the video*Im going up there....

He dons his armor and then makes sure hes all loaded and then he runs over to the elevator and presses the button to go to the main level and after a short wait time with no music the elevator comes up and huon aims his battle rifle at a dead marine near the doorway and shoots at it hurting it a little bit and then he quickly shoots it down and he looks to make sure its dead by shooting another round into its corpse.Then he steps down and sends a communication to the 3 techs down by the generator to bring the supply of ammo.Huon knew the fight was going to last very long as in the file it stated if the flood do not succeed in 3 or 4 attacks then they will mass a attack that will last anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours.Then He slowly while crouch went to the nearest cover spot while still shooting his rifle.

[]but what do you guys think about my ideas?any of em you can agree on?i have more.one is where we fall back into the base and we have a battle over territory like we control the main base but they control the top and a few passages.it'd be more inside fighting.might be interesting.like i said im just giving out ideas[]

Huon kept shooting and then he got on his comm to the pilot nearby and told him to come over to his cover."Pilot this is huon.We shouldnt be fighting as were the best in the UNSC.We need to fall back to the middle behind the pillar.*A nav point is put by the pillar for the pilot and then huon turns off his comm channel*

Huon:*keeps shooting rounds and then puts a fresh clip in his gun*I have to get over to that pillar!*he crouchs down and little by little makes his way to the pillar and then he reloads and starts shooting again*

[]and were fighting now right?since if a flood infection form came through then shouldnt the other flood?im still a lil confused.[]

Flood dont infest armies in half an hour huon

[]Well the last 3 or 4 flood attacks werent that big and there are a lot of flood.plus remember i made a big variable.10 minutes to 120 minutes.[]

And noone knows really how fast it takes to infect.nothing was made known or released.

[]also its been more than half an hour i think.maybe 1-2 hours as weve set up gun positions,medical place and everything so it sbeen a bit more than that.

Remember that you setting things up was taking place while we were running to the base. And flood infection takes about half an hout to take complete control, not to mention moving distance and they would have to fight that many men to get an army.

[]ok.but still the flood would be big.and are we ever gunna leave the base i wonder.it'd make a good plot point.might have to like ya know find a place for like 4 or 5 pelican 30-45 marines and the spartans.[]

well there wasa fight among the people here but i think you were here for that.Then we fortified out position a bit and know theres a flood mass attacking us and were all just shooting at it.So just keep attacking the flood or something.
