USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by Silver Stardust125 pages

Hah, hah....

Actually, it probably wouldn't be too bad an idea.

Okay Ush. One dodge, and fire at the start. *Hopes this works*

Your luck is in- all clear this time against the Osokans!

New sequence- ok Tanic, you're all clear. Let's blow this thing and get out of here.

Your guns roll is -2, which with your impairment makes that a nine. Not your best shot, even against its dodge rating of zero.

Your fix-it roll is a +3, however, for an 11. You needed a ten to target the correct part. This makes a total of 22 damage to the part you were aiming for... and you needed to do 20 damage.

You have blown out the scanner on the device. Without that, they can broadcast as much transponder information on it that they like, but they won't be able to track you; the information is useless. In future times, you might be far more interested in making sure they don't broadcast it, but in this case they did that ages ago; every probe in this sector has those signals keyed in.

And therein lies the other problem- the probes are sitll looking, and the analyzers on the ships are still there. Heck, for that matter they can probably fix it. But the probes aren't in this system any more- why would they be when they have already found you- and if you get out of here quickly, before they repair the transmitter and before they can get the ships into orbit to use their equipment, you'll be off their scope

Once those ships begin a general search pattern and the probes get re-tasked, they'll find you again. By that point you will have to have made the switch, as planned.

Rianna: 10/27 (27)/13
Tanic: 12/24 (24)/8

Hunters x9: 0/11
Hunter: 18/11
Captain: 3/0/11

Helkin: 0/11

Rianna has a chance to act first before the attacks come at you; Tanic needs defences. BTW, Tanic will have to use his gun skill to dodge with for the mment.

Galder- control room. Well, hangar transfer control point, anyway, gathering by the sign on the door. Just to be perfect, its droid operated and unguarded. Those Cynelline chumps! This is what you get with no conflict on your world.

... Galder, this equipment is ridiculously complex.

Trick, I just noticed your character has a point in Persuade- that's not right. You'll need to re-spend that one.

Pardon? I just noticed this 😮 What do I have to do?

Put it somewhere else. Fallen doesn't have Persuade as an option. You kinda lost that touch during your 'transitional period', as you call it, or disastrous fall to the Dark Side, as others do. You're a good liar though.

Okay Ush, can Tanic blow a force point to Draw his saber?

Or does that involve dropping his pistol?

If so, he Draws his saber and carrys his pistol in his off hand.

It's a frame to not drop the pistol and you can't have both out at once, in a literal rules sense. Without a frame to get the pistol out the way of using your sabre, you have to drop it.

And unfortunately you can only spend that frame on your own action, so if you draw your sabre on the defensive right now, you would have to drop the gun.

Screw it, Tanic drops his pistol and pulls his saber. He's got two, anyway.
He yells at Helkin,
"Keep the pistol, piglet! I'll be back for it!"

Ok, now, that actually counts as a defence against one of them. Your others?

Galder looks over the controls once he is in. "Oh joy, this'll be great fun!"

(Any security controls that would work to our advantage?)

(Nice shot, Tanic! You make me proud to be evil...)

As I pointed out, Galder, this is not a general control room.

Thing is, these controls were not built for organic interfacing. As in, the droids are meant to do it all. The droids seem to be lifeless- the system is shut down.

Good job you have Fix-it, else you wouldn't have a chance- even so, you are not confident on this one (your score is not huge).

(Is this Episode III all over again?)

Galder tries to find a spot where a droid might be found, but turns to the controls and starts fiddling away nonetheless, trying to find the controls to move the ships.

Um, he'll dodge twice.

Ready to run, Rianna?

Assuming Rianna's standard defences...

Hmm, the Osokan she is riposting actually botches his attack, so I am going to let the Riposte auto-hit with double damage, which is a one hit kill. A decapitation, in fact, for an actual kill.

You all stay clear of trouble for now, but...

Rianna: 7/27 (27)/10
Tanic: 12/24 (24)/6

Hunters x8: 0/8
Hunter: 18/8
Captain: 3/0/8

Helkin: 0/8

... looks like Tanic is in no position to flee yet. Rianna's action, then the Osokans attack again.

Galder, fix-it roll with a difficulty of 15. You roll evens for a 9.

Ok, you think you have managed to find the right panel...

-

Takuan- did you choose yet? Instincts or not?

yes..definitely instincts

Smart.

Your force roll is -3, but that is still more than a 10, which is what you needed.

You want to go the exact same way you went first time, Takuan- out through the window to the hangars! Your feet are already dashing that way...

oh goody 😊
takuan stays attached to his feet then 😄..and keeps moving

Oooh yay, I actually killed one of the damn piggies...

Standard attack on the one that's hit for 18, then 1 active dodge and 1 riposte for defense.

So you are actually staying in rather than fleeing, Rianna?
