He opens his mouth to call out again, but this time his voice is drowned out by a cacophonous electrical crackle from behind you, Galder.
You spin, drawing your sabre by instinct. The sides of the cafe square not bordering the river are lined with Osokans, moving quickly out of the nearby buildings. They just activated their whips.
"You've got to be joking..." He points to the man, then quickly deactivates his lightsabers and slips into an alleyway, taking out his comlink. He quietly whispers into the comlink, "Gentlemen, I've spotted Osokan bastards...I suggest we get to the ships? We've killed before, we'll kill again! That or we can stay in hiding for as long as we can here..."
Galder makes his way to the river and quietly slips underneath the water, swimming to the other side as quickly as possible, towards the house where the man was shouting warning to him.
Galder, that's no good- you are on a balcony overlooking that river, it is a long way down and a long way back up again, so you cannot do that casually.
'Slips into an alleyway' is impossible. The Osokans have all the exits.
Rah. you start to bolt it along the main promenade towards the dry dock area. However, as you round the long, wide circular corridor, very quickly three teams of Osokans come into view- their whips drawn and activated, and charging towards you.
(sry for the delay.....been busy with school starting 'n all. and the dial-up i have here is REALLY crappy after a summer of cable connection)
Takuan holding his saber ignited runs alongside Rah to the ships. they musn't lose them. When he sees the osokans he looks for another corridor to the docks. something around the osokans.
Takuan, you start to dash down another route, but your danger sense is going into overdrive. Sure enough, you quickly come into sight of another two teams who have that route covered as well. A sick feeling grasps your stomach, Takuan- they are coming FROM the dock/dry dock area. They've secured it all already- they've adapted their tactics this time.
You don't need to use Fall, you can jump into the river.
Unfortunately, due to the speed of the situation, Galder does this before you can tell him not to, Rand- else you might have reminded him that Osokans are lethal in all environments, and furthermore that neurowhips work in water where sabres really don't very well.
