Own your own Moon land!i!i!i!

Did you know that you can now officially own a piece of the moon. It's bein going for a few years now, and I bought my piece a couple of years ago. It's £20 per acre (i have one acre), and you get a map showing your plot of land along with an official certificate of ownership and a contract. Part of the contract says that you are not allowed to wage war on any other moon land owners. 😂
You can also own a piece of mars, venus and some of the other planets.

The story behind this goes back a few decades. In the 60's, lots of governments got together and decided between themselves that no one country should be able to own the moon, so they passed a law preventing any nation from doing so. However, one clever guy was watching, and went to the claims office, and said that he claimed the moon and planets as his own. He said that he was an individual, not a nation, so he could still claim them. Amazingly, the claims office put his request through and he then officially owned all of the planets and their moons (except earth).

I'll have to find the official website where you can order the products and land from.

You can "buy" parts of the moon in Gardnerville, NV.

It's all a scam, no one owns the moon, it's the gods honest truth. You spent you're money on jack shit except for a "certificate".

Well, it does give you mineral rights to that part of the moon.

How the hell will you know what actual part it is? And how do you know that they don't just give out the same 5 acres over and over?

You're never going to go to the moon so why the feck bother?

Owning bits of the moon, could be cool. Maybe.

that's like owning a star. You just can't own something that isn't someone's property.

It might be cool, but you can't. This is, as has been pointed out, a scam. And since we're on the topic (sort of), you can't buy stars and name them after loved ones, either.

And no, it doesn't give you mineral rights. I've actually looked into this (can you say, "bored out of my mind?"😉, and it's not legit.

But that's the point. If you buy it, it IS your property. What you are saying is like saying that nobody can own any parts of the earth. You might not be able to control it, but you can still oficially own it.

Dude...face it you got scammed.

😱 Whoa! Are you OK? I know you cant, be IF you could, it would be cool!

Well, if nobody can own the moon, then nobody else can claim my patch of land.
