Wouldn't make sense. When the case is opened, Tim Roth says, "Is that what I think it is?" Nobody would say that to a soul.

That's true, I don't think they'd say it to the Elvis suit rumour either though. Don't think it would be gold, as John Travolta swings the case round like it doesn't weigh much when he gets it out of the cupboard in the apartment.

Exactly. Maybe it is one gold brick surrounded by styrofoam. That would work. A bunch of gold bricks would be too heavy but 1 would only be like 15-20 pounds.

I don't think Wallace would go to all the trouble of hiring two hitmen to go get it back though, it's not worth that much.

Yep, if I opened a briefcase and found a giant golden penis I would definitely say "It's...beautiful..." =D

I've thought about this long and hard, I really have. I don't think there is anything that would actually make sense/work in the brief case based on the glow and on how peope react to it - "it's beautiful" - so I think that it's nothing. It's just supposed to drive us all crazy, because there's really nothing that it could be... I think the "soul" theory is kind of stupid actually

About the tickets: that is so cool. Good noticing. I have watched KB many times and never caught that.
