is marvel cleaning house?

the following classic characters have been recently permanently killed off. I can understand the decision to kill off some of these, but does anyone else think that some where a bad idea?

recently dead:
Apocalypse-killed by cable's psi-mitar
Psylock-killed by Argus
Karen Page-impaled by Bullseye
Mysterio I (Quentin Beck)-Daredevil inspired suicide
Leap Frog-killed by his small son
Magneto-decapitated by wolverine
Phoenix IV (Jean Grey)-killed by Magneto
The Rose (Richard Fisk)-murdered by his own mother, Vanessa Fisk
White Tiger-shot by panicking police officers

also of note:
Stilt Man-retired
Bullseye-severely mutilated, traumatized, and captured
Kingpin-severely beaten and incarcerated for life
Polaris-apparently going psychotic

they never should have killed psylocke. way too early to start killing sexy ass babes like psylocke.

And not long since Colossus and Illyana died.
And beast in ultimate x-men died.
And One of the stepford cookoos dies (in new x-men, I cant remember her name).
And captain marvel (genis) is about to stop being published.

i really didnt want Psylocke, Colossus or Magneto to die. though, in comic books, not everyone stays dead(, superman, wonderman, and several others)

what comic does Wolvie decapitate Magneto? I'm sooo getting that one.

Magneto deserved better.

Well, a few years ago I might have believed you. He was a victim, but it didn't excuse what he did. He virtually destroyed all of New York City!!!

I just think somebody else shoulda offed him. like Xaiver, or Cyclops

i think that he did deserve better. cheap shots suck.

I could have gone without seeing it. it wasnt portrayed how I would have thought. more honorable.

Did you see the following (uncanny) issues with his funeral??

i heard wolverine all but porked his corpse

yeah. he kickes mags's body out of its coffin and destroyed the big magneto statue, and got into a fight with some of magneto's genoshan followers.

now wolverine is just acting like an ass.
