Never As It Seems

raven said "I gotta go guys"....raven the walked off and headed inside the castle.

"Wonder where she's going?" asked Rose as she petted the snake and Holly crept away.

raven walked into the catsle and headed to the library.

Chelsea smiled. "I wonder if I should name it, but to do that I would need to find out if our friend here is a girl or a guy. Wait, The slytherin prefect would know. I hear he's great with snakes. What was his name again?" she asked. "Riddle...Tom Riddle."

raven brushed the hair out of her face as she started searching for the book she needed.

"Tom Riddle. He's the best prefect there is," said Rose before she got up to go check out a charms book at the library.

Chelsea followed. The snake was around her neck seemingly a necklace. She scanned the rows of books before backing into someone. She turned to see someones chest. She looked up bluching to see a Slytherin.

Noticing the badge, "I'm very sorry, Mr. Riddle."

There was a soft chuckle. "It's quite alright. You're Chelsea Snape, aren't you?" he asked smiling.

Chelsea nodded.

raven bit her lower lip as in entisapation in finding the book she needed. she knew if she were caught looking at this book or checking it out she could get in BIG trouble.

Chelsea glanced at raven but her atention was diverted when her scaly friend stirred.

Tom smiled. "Well what do you have here?" he asked holding out his hand letting the snake slyther on it. Chelsea blushed. "I don't know if they're aloud. But this on kinda is growing on me. Please don't tell any of the professors."

Tom chuckled. "I won't, and they're not allowed, but I can help you hide him and carry her around unnoticed."

raven glanced over at sonia and tom and mummbled to herself. " sorry sonia but I dont think you will want the snake once you find out its secret"

"Don't keep it," whispered her cousin from a nearby table.

Chelsea looked quizzicaly. She took raven to the side so Tom couldn't here. "Why would I not want to keep the poor creature."

Rose looked at her friends with an arched eyebrow because there are something wrong with the snake.

Tom stayed where he was and petted the snake. It egan to climb up his arm and onto his shoulders.

Rose came over and as if hynotized petted the snake with a smile.

raven looked at sonia and said "you dont want to keep that snake.....look how its behaveing"

Chelsea arched an eyebrow. "It's being nice?" she asked. "I don't understand."

Rose just gazed at Riddle until she shook her head and ran away from him feeling she was just hynotized.

Tom stared after her playing like he didn't know. He looked over at Chelsea and Raven.

raven looked at chelsea and smirked. then she said "oh,.....you will see, you may not realizie it now but soon you will". raven took the book she wanted off the shelf then walked off.raven looked over her shoulder and yelled to chelsea "Time will tell!". and with that raven walked out of the library.
