Never As It Seems

"You yalk to him," she said.

Severus took a deep breath. "Potter!" he said lowly trying not to draw Riddle's attention. "I need to talk to youand your friends in private."

"There you go," said Rose as she headed to the library to do research on snakes and hynosis.

James grinned nastily, remembering the bucket of water, and Rose's behaviour. Sirius raised his wand, using a freezing spell on Rose, and Wormtail cast Impedimentia on Snape while James disarmed him.
"Yes?" asked James in a fake posh accent.

Snape growled. Potter wasn't making this easy. "Um, just wondering." he paused. why the hell am I degrading myself. "Could you help me." he braced for the laughing and ridicule.

Holly undid Rose's spell and looked at Potter. "He needs your help to get Chelsea from the hands of Riddle. I know how much you guys hate him."

Severus sneered as Riddle glanced at him. He had oblivously suspected something.

"Please Potter?" asked Rose.

Severus turned to Rose. He didn't like the fact she was begging. They were really disgracing themselves.

Chelsea walked beside Tom. They were talking. It was as if they were life long friens! How could this be?

"Hm. So, yesterday you throw water on us, cast spells behind our backs, and now you want us to help you?" James grinned, "if it was just Snivellous here asking, I would say yes - we hate that Riddle b**tard more than him, but I'm not sure if we hate more than you two." He looked at the two girls. Sirius was twirling their wands around, but Wormtail had his wand out, as did Lupin, although Lupins was on the ground next to him.

The group seemed to be an oasis of calm as other kids ran around, some of the first yeas sending spells shooting out across the water, and some 3rd years seemed to be holding a magical boat race, trying to get their individual boats as far across the lkae as the could, before the squid's tentacles rose up and pulled them down under the water.

Severus sighed. "Look, po...James, I am willling to do whatever it takes to get my sister away from that scumball."

"He's gone real looney that Riddle," said Rose.

"Shut up," said Sirius to Rose.

Potter looked hard at Severus, trying to sense a trick of some kind.

Severus snape looked desperate. "Potter, I don't just go around begging people like this."

Rose looked on.

Chelsea walked up to Severus and Rose and Holly. "What's going on?" se asked smiling. "Hi James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus, what are you all up to?" she asked supsiciouslly eying her brother.

"Onw word: Riddle," hissed Rose.

Chelsea laughed. "Rose, he's not that bad."

Severus shook his head. It had aleady began.
