It kind of sucks that Silmarillion can't be made into a movie. There are some good scene in the book that I really want to see. IF it was to become a movie, it would need to be broken into several parts ie different people's quests in the book. It's too much of a risk to make the book a movie. It could cost $100 million, yet make only $20 million in the end.

Which is probably the best... 'specially for a book like the Silmarillion its imo bestest to keep your own imagination because youl be disappointed with most other portrayings (just look at the many drawings of the Silmarillion and you know what I mean 🙂 )
