Chewbacca TV Serie ????

Well im not sure if this is actually exists, but in around 1979-1980 i saw a TV serie or something with Chewbacca. The Only thing i remember is Chewbacca climbing up a ladder and enter his "house" were his wife and children are waiting. This was no Cartoon. I was only 6 years old and it has haunted me all these years. Does this exist or was it just a dream.

yes It did it only stayed on air for three days the rateings were very low.

I remember that as well, I was about the same age as Jarell. It was definitely live action, but I want to say that it was some kind of variety show and not exclusively Star Wars. My pot-addled brain is most likely mistaken though.
