Except that I think elves would not be bored because they do not use that word... maybe they'd call it "time to think about the past life"? "the change to have a little calm before the storm" (ie dagor dagrath or whatever)? Hmmm 😑

actually i don't think they would've gotten bored...they are not like men who's hearts and minds are as restless as the wind...esp since their life span is waaaaaaaay short...

on the other hand...i think the elves besides spending time on poetry and song would most likely spend it on reflection...to stop and smell the roses...they probably have a mind set that each new day is the first, and tomorrow does not yet exist even if some have the gift of foresight...
