Heres a article on the Artest Peja trade. Bird says nothing has been going on but I dont completely believe that nothing is happening. Petrie usually keeps his moves quiet from the media as the Brad Miller trade came out of nowhere.
I was having a little Laker chat with my best friend, and he heard that the Lakers are pretty interested in trading all 3 of their new Boston aquisitions for Jason Kidd.
He's not EXACTLY what I had in mind for LA because so far, I like all the new big men. But with Gary gone, I think Kidd would be awesome for the Lakers.
ESPECIALLY if they could ever get Malone signed. But that's not looking too good right now.
well the 3 players they picked up from Boston, would probably be more help to New Jersey than LA at this point anyways. They lost Kenyon, so they need a low post player, and losing Kidd wouldn't be a total loss if they pick up Chucky....but who knows.
I haven't been right about anything in this offseason until it's already happened.
And in other offseason moves Vanessa Williams and Rick Fox have divorced. I think I will leave my comments out of this as it would get pretty nasty.

Yea I really hope the trade goes down for a number of reasons.
1. Peja coming back to the Kings would be more problematic to the team than Artest would. Bobby Jackson has already called him out for asking a trade, although not in his words, he pretty much said Peja is being a wuss for asking a trade after Vlade left and I dont want to have a angry player who doesnt want to be hear.
2. Trading him now is the right time because Peja still has a lot of value. If he chokes again in this playoffs no good team is going to want him as hell be labeled a choker in postseason. Yeah some sucky team might want a good regular season player but theres less likely the Kings can get as good a deal as right now. This to me is a huge season for Peja, mostly dictated what he does in the playoffs. If he does well well probably get a huge contract, if he doesnt a lot of good teams will pass on him. And if the Kings dont trade him next year he'll walk out of his contract the following year for nothing.
3. I love Artest game. He might be psychotic, but theres very few players that have a better all around game than him. If you put Artest at small forward, Christie at shooting guard, Bobby as back up point with the only weakness being Bibby you have one of the best perimeter defenses in the league and although I hate Osterfat, he does clog up a middle, block a few shots and can knock around people you have one of the better defenses in the game. Which would give the Kings another chance of winning a title as the 2002 version was in my opinion the best Kings team as they ranked first in defensive field goal percentage and if Webber hadn't go down against the Mavs I had know doubt they would have won the title.
how do you see bibby as there weakness?...he;s there best player eveypost season and is clutch.....if kidd goes to the lakers than that team would be right back in it but thats a big if.....new jersey is trying to make a deal with jefferson for a 73 million dollar contract....he is NOT worth that much

I was talking about Bibby being the defensive weakness for the Kings. No doubt Bibby is our best clutch shooter but his defense is terrible.
I guess GP wanted to screw the Lakers. I must say this is pretty funny.
