Eowyn's Sword

ok me n shadowy recently discovered that her sword has no name....that's right!!

so i think we should give it one 😄

It has no name because it isn't the sword of any important person, it's a sword without history and without a past 😛

So if we give it a name (which would be a brilliant idea 😛 )
Should it be Rohirric/Old English or the English translation?

Discius - oh wait thats Eagos' Sword!

Alitour?

Rohirric 😛

And what should it mean 😉

well sb has a strange obsession with it let her choose 😛

Well, Eowyn has a fear of cages, so it could be called 'Cage Breaker' I have no idea how to translate that

Oooo cage breaker...that sounds nice...and so does Rohirric , those names both sound nice...hmm..how about..bravercy...to mean..of great bravery, eowyn had alot of it

lol that prob sounded lame but it sounded good to me

cafigbrecan?

or carcenbrecan...

rohirric is the name of a language; of Rohan

I guess now it would be kinda useful to know Old English 😛 😆

And I don't 😛
but here a lil maybe useful vocabulary... I don't know any words for "cage" itself but found those for "prison" or "enclosure" - carcærn, clús, clústor, hlínræced, néadcofa, nýdcleofa, nearu, nirwð

I think "nearu" would be the most useful as it's short, but still beautiful... the accusative (direct object) of it should be neare?

For "break" (<breaker) I also found loads of words....brecan, ábrecan, áberstan escape, ábéatan and several ones like that, I think here "áberstan" is the one that could be used... (btw, "breaking" is "gebryce" 😑 )
participe present maybe ?áberstennen
Breaker = Brecan?

"brave" (in battle) would be níðheard; hence, hm, Níðhearded?

edit - ok too late 😛

cafig? - in german it's Käfig 😛

Ooooooo nice!!! those sound all nice!!!

thanks, but mines was best yeah? 😛

how about...a name which would resemble "the slayer of a king" ie the witchking?

LOL! hahaha yes urs was the best! hmm witchking...evilanic? for him being so evil?? man im bad at this...lol i just think it sounds good to me..hahah
