sauruman and wormtounge arn't dead at the beginning of the film? tree beard is guarding him, or he ran away, something like that i think 🙂

i hope those are part of the EE. I really want the scourging to be in there 🙂

hmmm very good point...but they could have it when saruman went there in the past and left a hobit in charge of the scourging....

They do not have the Scouring of the Shire... that would be sure even if PJ himself hadnt said that they dont have it - for the fans who wanted it he made the Mirror-scenes. There are five or six different versions of Saruman's death filmed, but surely none of them in the scouring of the shire - it's pretty sure that Gríma will throw Saruman off his balcony at the beginning of ROTK, together with the Palantír, and Legolas will kill Gríma (not the three shire archers as in the book of course). Already several pictures of that available.

yep Exa thats the death I am rooting for, also the part with Wormtounges death with Legolas I believe shall be a "wow-er"

I dount the scouring will be in the EE but we never know, or perhaps we do. The EE shall kick-ass non the least

id love it if they did have the Scouring of the Shire in as a 'Farewell' surprise that would be great, it was one of the parts of the book i missed the most. however it is most likely that it wont be in, mabye they'll bring out another even longer version after the EE that has it in....some ppl can dream you know?!? lol

I'm afraid the scene in the picture was just from "The Mirror of Galadriel" scene and nothing more. 🙁 PJ already confirmed that they NEVER filmed SOTS, right? 🙁

Actually for me it will be better if they leave SOTS alone, having it would be kinda anti-climactic, it will only work in the book, IMO. But that's just me. 😉 😄

But yeah, seeing Pippin in that shot is awesome. 😄

Also think sots would look a little strange in a film after the great showdown while in the book its totally essential... and a perfect portrait of the hobbit world.
