yup probably....

I think they will be really trendy! And everyone will be up dancing! I dont think they will be a gothic band! More like the three witches from Hocus Pocus, " Ive put a spell on you " Thats more like it!

Ha! I can see it now!

xx

Yeah I agree with ada... It can't be a gothic music or a goth band because it's the Yule Ball dance. People need to get up their butt and shake their asses on the dance floor. How are you going to dance to "the blood spilled on the floor, I feel like dying" kinda lyric. LOL! I hope the band would be a little classic-ish, you know... Some fun classic music to dance with. Or maybe some pop-ish/hiphop-ish like Meestique. Those London girls are hot. =)

Totally agree!

🙂 yup

CBBC officially announced who will play Parvati and Padma Patil, Harry and Ron's dates for the Yule Ball. Apparently by the sound of it, they're not twins or not even sisters at all. Let's just see how they're going to pull it off. Anyways, Paravati (Harry's date) will be played by Shefali Chowdhury, and Padma (Ron's date) will be played by Afshan Azad. There are no pictures of them yet.

Also, Fleur Delacour's younger sister Gabrielle will be played by Angelica Mandy who also appeared in Reese Whitherspoon's new movie "Vanity Fair." I'm sure there are pictures of her around, assuming it'd be screencaps from "Vanity Ffair." So whoever has pictures of her, please post =)

Thanks for the info shanie. Wow, I'd like to see how these two look. I absolutly can't wait for this movie to come out. I thought that POA was great, but this one is gonna be twice as good.

Is there any word on how they're gonna do this movie? Are they gonna split it up in two? Or just have 1 movie??

Ive heard both really. Firstly i heard they are going to have a four hour movie with an interval ( which would be fantastic! ) and then i heard that this was just a rumour and that they are going to make it into a 2 1/2 hour film!

I dont really mind a 2 1/2 hour film, but i really dont think they will have enough time to fit everything in!

I vote for a four hour film with an interval! But thats obvious seeing as though im a harry potter fan!

xx

They (which is to say the movie producers and director) were actually thinking of making it into a 4-hour movie with intermission... BUT it turns out it wouldn't be possible to do that because the movie is due on November 2005, and there just wasn't enough time to edit if they were going to make it into a 4-hour movie. Plus, their budget for this film is much lower than the first three films (which in my opinion is VERY unfair because GoF deserves more attention than the first three movies, considering the fact that it's the sequel where all the exciting new scenes and characters come in and in which Voldemort comes back).

Anyways, a lot has been saying since because of these reasons that the GoF won't be a 4-hour movie, the movie is likely to turn out like PoA (you know, all cut up to sh*tty pieces).

In my opinion though, they should give this movie justice. And I'm not saying they should make it into a 4-hour movie, because it's plausible that it would't be allowed in the theaters anyway. So they should at least make it into a 3-hour one (just like the 3rd sequel to LotR). I'm sure most fans would be satisfied with that.

By the way, about the movie being cut into two films--- I so don't agree with it. First of all, it's already been denied by the director himself (Mike Newell), even though some fans wanted it to be split into two films. I think it would just be plain wrong to wait for the second part of the 4th... I mean, we're already tortured by the great JKR waiting for the 6th book! We can't possibly wait for even a couple of months to see a second part of the fourth film. That's a total waste of time! So I'm glad it won't be split into two.

Yeah, i agree with ya, though i wouldn't personally mind watching it in two seperate films, i think the wait for the second half would be torture!!!! I can't wait for this film!!! ive just been busing myself reading the books again!!! Does anyone have links to pictures of whose been cast? CBBC Newsround had some pics of the one playing Cedric Diggory and Fleur, but does anyone know of any others?

I think it was in a previous post... but if you can't find it you can always go to imdb.com and search for the Goblet of Fire.. it gives you the names of all the people.

I know I couldn't stand the wait, because you'd have to wait like 6 months in between the movies. Suspence KILLS me.😱 I want them to just make one big movie out of it

harry potter and the goblet of fire is out november 18 2005!

does anyone know wen the next clip for harry potter and the goblet of fire?

and about the weird sisters:

"David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter movies recently spoke with the Melbourne Sun about Jarvis Cocker, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood and drummer Phil Selway and their parts as The Weird Sisters in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and had this to say: "In the film you'll see The Weird Sisters play regular instruments that are a little bit strange, like bagpipes with really long pipes and guitars with three necks." Mr. Heyman also comments that he was "quietly confident" that Daniel, Emma and Rupert "would be back again and maybe beyond.""
