... well ... set design, what exactly would you have to do for that? just draw the different sets, or do models or.. what..?
jewellery.. that would be cool, there's loads of jewellery you could do.. the evenstar, eowyn's jewellery, aragorn's ring, nenya, the one ring itself of course... or perhaps you could do just the rings 😱
costumes... that's another really really good idea, because there's so many different styles of clothing for all the different races, and that could include armour as well i suppose.. and maybe even weapons too to show how the peoples of Middle Earth differed even down to what they fought with.
you could use costumes and armour and so on to show the differences in the different cultures of Middle Earth, and I don't just mean between the good side and the enemy, but between Gondorian and Rohan soldiers, or between Lothlorien and Mirkwood elves etc...
anyway, costumes gets my vote, out of your list 😄
whatever you choose i'm sure it will be great though 😄

in second year we had to make carrier bag holders (why we needed them im not sure)
anyway we had to put a patch on the front for decoration...i stuck everything down with fabric glue...and then i stuck the patch down with fabric glue...and i didnt finish it cause you had to sew from then on 😛
