Chris...I am sorry to hear about your Grandpa...the loss of a loved one is not an easy thing to take. I lost both of my grandparents when I was young and I miss them so much. It is not something that one can prepare for, but will come to understand and learn to deal with.

I am your friend Chris, and hopefully you know that more than you lead on to question it ! I will always be here for you no matter what, for you have always been there for me.

I have even taken your name as 'Sauron' so nobody else steals it. Thus giving up my own name ( which I hope I will be given the same curteousy and not have it stolen from me )

I do not plan on leaving the Tig Party, although my appearances might be limited from time to time. I love you all too much to leave you !

Hey SE, I've been there too...I'm not going to make a pretense about saying that it's ok, because it's not. Losing grandparents, or friends, or anyone you're related to, whether it's familial or not, is tough. It's gonna hurt when the time comes, and I feel for you man, but in time, the pain will lessen, and memories of the better times will dominate the times of sickness. Y'know, I never got to say good bye to any of my grandparents...at least you'll get that opportunity.

Sauron, i am so sorry about your grandfather...my grandmother is dying from lung cancer, and i too am having a hard time...it makes me so sad to see her so sick 🙁

ANd just to let everyone know, i am not leaving...just cutting back on the time i spend in Tig party, and enjoying some of the other amazing thread here...I could never compleatly abandon you...

eless..i love that quote, i wrote it in my angel book that i have which ive turned into a LOTR book where i do drawings and write chapters of my story and all kinds of LOTR related stuff in it, the quote is on the first page of it, and its in hobbit writing

so many threads, so little time. Try using two browsers. I sometimes do that. One for the OTF, one for all others. That may help

I have to grow out of being that little girl who thinks parents will always be there when you need them.
I hope your grandfather gets better 🙁 It's much worse to see them alive and suffering. My grandparents are very old, and whenever they go, a huge part of me will go with them.. 🙁
