Thats a general phenomenon, also for example seen in newspapers; the smaller something is printed, the more interesting it is, as long as its still visible 😛

Different on a pc where you have to read everything onedimesionally;

they may notice it easier,
but they usually read small and non-capital letters more concentratedly than others
