A Last Word From LanceWindu

On behalf of our good friend Ken, or LanceWindu as majority of you will know him, it's my sad duty to announce that he again will not be posting on KMC for an indefinite period of time.

Today is my last time on KMC for awhile, I started my new job today and got my apartment, so I no longer have computer access.

I literally don't have time to make a goodbye thread, since I have to go shopping for house shit and groceries...I'll be back as soon as I can.

He sends his regards to everyone--he regrets not being able to tell us himself, but like he said, he hasn't the time.

Good luck man, and see ya when you get back 🙁

I don't know you very well, but gl w/ your job and I hope you can get internet access. I just hope you can read this. It saddens me when someone leaves for whatever reason. I'm going to post here until i die.

um, if he has time to tell someone else he is leaving, doesn't he have time to say, hey, i'm not gonna be on for awhile, l8rz? i mean, takes the same amount of time...sounds kinda fishy...but if its legit, congrats on new job!! 😄

so is this the new fashion around KMC? when leaving get a spokes person to make a 'official' announcement,hmm?

I was thinking the same...he had pmed me a few times after I asked if it were fake, it did seem a bit weird...but don't shoot the messenger 🙁

Yes he talked to me on AIM,
Lance does not pull that kind of crap.
He is moving into workers housing about 30 miles away from where he is now.
He will be on whenever he can get to his parents house.

I thought he was here to stay!

Yay! I got on the computer!!!

This is my first day off from the new job. Speak of the devil, I Love the new job. It's simple shit, I get to sit down and rest nearly 6 hours out of the day, and the rest of the time I really don't have much to do.

Also they are training me to become the cashier for the Fuel Dock and when that happens if the manager is gone for the day, everyone else has to answer to me! The only bad thing about the job is the heat and the damn sun. By the third day I had a real bad sunburn and had to get a ton of Aloe Vera to ease the pain. But by now the burn has turned into a kick ass suntan.

I've only been working for 5 days but I've got a lot of overtime already, and they pay me $10.50 for every hour of overtime.

Day 1 - 9 hours of work.
Day 2 - 10 hours of work.
Day 3 - 12 hours of work.
Day 4 - 12 and a half hours of work.
Day 5 - 8 and a half hours of work.

Plus there's still a few days left on this pay period. So hopefully with the first paycheck I can go rent a cheap computer until I can save up for a good reliable one.

Living alone is kinda boring, but in a good way. No screaming babies, no one telling me what to do. It's quiet though since I don't have my satellite hooked up yet. I'm getting that done tomorrow.

Anything I missed here on KMC???
