Not to discredit Wilt's 100 point game, but it was against the 1962 Knicks who had absolutely nobody on their team, who also finished 29-51.

I think u forgot he played too long. Remeber those Washington Wizards years. Making sure he averaged 20 pts to hold onto his career scoring average. I will say when Kobe Bryant's career is over, he may just surpass King Michael. I do remember Michael taking Kobe to task when Kobe was 17, ah fast forward, didn't Kobe put up 42 on old Michael at Staples. Merry Xmas

Interesting point guy222. Hmm, never thought of it like that.

Happy Holidays, friend.

You too!

It's cliche but I think Mike's the greatest player of all time.

ok, let me tell everyone how it is

mj is bar far the best, yes he is a lot better then wilt talent wise, and if u dont think so, tell me what level of competition wilt had to go up against besides russell. another thing about this so called poll is that oscar "Big O" Robertson is not on here, he was amazing if u watch videos of him. he would beat larry bird in his prime any day.

also lebron is not the same type of player mj was, kobe is the closet to mj by the way he plays but he wont be mike because mj made scottie pippen a future HOFer

so hands down mj is the best end of thread

3 Undisputable Sports facts

1. Jerry Rice is the greatest wide-out of all time.

2. Deion Sanders is the greatest CB of all time.

3. Michael Jordan is the greatest B-Baller of all time.

If it was undisputed, then this thread wouldn't be here, would it?

I don't necessarily disagree with these statements, but one has to be careful with their wording. I would call Deion the best COVER corner of all time, not the GREATEST corner of all time.

Jerry Rice COULD be considered the greatest NFL player of all time, not just its best WR.

#3 is a fact. (AT THE MOMENT), only Wilt could be considered his equal or greater.

Many people are good, not great, but the ones you named are great.

Excellent choices but to me Majic Johnson without a doubt.

larry bird. he could go toe to toe with MJ, neither of them able to stop the other. think about this. larry bird, with his skills, but with a fraction of MJ's athletic ability.
scary.

this is a great vid i found of bird...dood is SICK.....

YouTube video

Talent wise Kevin Garnett should be at the top somnewhere

KG is top 50 material, but towards the top of the top? No, not all time.

KG? please. top 50, maybe. one of the best ever? nope.

i mean as far as all around talent how many guys do you find that can play every position on the floor in the nba and suceed at it.

point.

Bah. Even Larry would tell you he couldn't go one on one with MJ. 😉
