Umm stealing a ball doesn't make one a great defender. Larry Bird had great instincs. Yes, on offence! Larry Bird isn't a lockdown defender like Jordan!

Jordan wasn't a lockdown defender, Pippen was.

Still, its surprising that you could watch Jordan and not really notice how good Pippen was.

not really. kinda like watchign bird throughout the years and not realizing how good mchale was. you really had to watch mchale close to see how good he was.

I just find it natural to watch everybody rather than one player at a time I guess. Maybe its my PG background. Good court awareness 😉

I guess, but I'm still in shock that you struggle to watch everybody on a team. It almost makes it seem that you create a bias that makes you blind to everybody else on the court.

watching MJ, losing focus on the rest of the players, its easy to do. i see what the others are doing, but when MJ had the ball i would be on the edge of my seat.

You had to be on the edge of your seat, because you knew something amazing was coming.

just like when bird had the ball. or hakeem. or magic.
