Whatever makes you sleep at night honey!

😖leep:

Hey I watched all of the movies again last night on my PC. Then I thougt that the 2nd movie was also an excellent movie. I cant say now that the PoA movie is better in any way than the CoS movie.

I found one problem in the PoA movie. In the end when Snape was trying to save the Trio, why didnt he follow Harry (who ran before Lupin and Sirius fighting each other) ? *In the book, at that time, Snape was not concious and was not able to help them.* I think this is a big mistake in the movie because whatever is the rudeness of him towards the Trio, he can never let any Hogwarts student die in front of him. In the movie it is simply shown that when Harry ran after Lupin and Sirius, Snape remained behind with Ron and Hermione not doing anything. Also it is not shown who took Sirius and Harry to Hospital! (Of course in book it is Snape) SO Snape was waiting with Ron and Hermione that when Harry and Sirius both will be dead due to dementers? (BUT they were safe) And then he had to take 'em to Hospital? It was totally disgusting. 😖

You've got a point there! But im willing to overlook it!

lol

i hope that the dvd of poa has better special features than the other movies' dvds have! 😱

perhaps.......we hope........

that scene in the movie where the guys are eatin' that strange candy that makes them act and sound like animals was really weird and a bit corny, but in a good way! 😱 😆

I actually liked that!! xx

lol corny lol

kind of corny...but i still enjoyed it...but Scar you make a good point. There are obvious flaws in PoA...but, i think i too can over look them 🙂

i still think that scene is funny and corny ahehe

and....?? 😬 we all know that this movie is based on a book but...everyones dissapointed because we expected so much from the movie 🙁

what was the name of that candy they were eating in that scene?

I didn't like PoA...at all 😬 it was a real disappointment because PoA is my favourite HP book 🙁

Same here^^ 😬

Movies based on books are never meant to follow the books exactly, and, in terms of the special effects, the PoA movie was pretty well done.

But I think many elements of the movie weren't as up to scratch.. 😬

How many things did they forget to include in the movies?

Spoiler:
Like who was Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs? And that they were the ones who made the Marauder's Map.

The new setting was much better, I think.. the pumpkins, the scarecrows, and just the setting in general.. it helped re-emphasize all the magic and wizardry beautifully..

All in all, this movie was better in certain aspects, but it didn't live up to my expectations..

i was really upset that they didnt show the scene where harry first produces a patronus and knocks malfoy, crabbe and goyle senseless in that quidditch match! also, he did NOT get a patronus on the first try with remus, and they put the firebolt at the END of the movie? what good is that? we never even saw him play quidditch on that~! that was one of my favorite parts <: /

I suppose they wouldn't have time for it all.. But, yeah, I still agree with ye

Mergeness.. 😉

i luved that scene

or did the characters neglect to mention the name of the candies they were eating? it was funny when harry's ears steamed up! 😆

there ya go 😉 . i agree with tassie about the new and updated graphics. the castle, while being new and having that huge clock on it, is still beautiful even though its not in the book.

getting to see more of the surrounding landscapes about the school was wonderful. breathtaking to see nature like that. the forbidden forest looked more mysterious and realistic.

^i agree...i loved the scenery when harry was riding buckbeak...it was beautiful!

i remember back to the time when i was watching the first two hp movies and it kept buggin' me on how awful and articifal everything looked in the landscape! >,< now, when mike newell goes to make gof, for god's sake, people will make sure that he does that too!

Yes, the scar doesn't look good at all. It looks like a cut from a razor or something. Besides, it's supposed to be in the middle of his forehead anyway. I think it was an editing mistake. I mean, how is that impossible?
