Ian Mckellen[Gandalf] is gay

yea, so what if old Ian is gay, we still love him ! (again not in that way!) and i think this thread bring people closer to him,a nd helps ppl 2 respect gays more!

i think that if we really have respect to everyone's sexuality, we just don't talk about it...
because for example, if ian's sexuality is really not important to us, why talking about it?
if it is not important, it should be exactly like talking about.. i dont know, about elijah's hair... we like him bald or with hair?? hey guys!! elijah is bald!! yay!! greatt!!... i mean... why do we care??
i we are cool about it, we may mention it in a casual chat (like elijah's hair), but not making a new thread to talk only about it 😕
besides, if ian were heterosexual, would there be a thread on ian's heterosexuality??
and btw, there is this movie i strongly recommend: "gods and monsters" with ian and brendan fraser... i saw it years ago...

I believe it was just a comment on how happy we are that he does not try to hide it. Many people still hide their sexuality, but Ian is very open. he has been with his current partner for over ten yeasr, and they are very happy together.

ive known for a while that hes gay, but that doesnt change him as a person, or a actor, hes a brilliant actor and seems like a great person, and hes even mentioned it on the cast commentry of fellowship, so hes very openingly about it

I dont mind talking about gays becuase i have loads of people who are gays and we dont mind tlaking about it,

But i do understand most people are comfertable talking it

I watched parkinson too, but I already knew he was gay, ha ha ha he made a good point on how ppl always worry about other ppl's reactions.
my sister is p****d off that he's gay, I dunno why, it doesn't bother me.

I never expected that.But I don't care if he's gay or not.It's his own choice and life.He can do whatever he wants.

We are not complaing that he is gay but we are proud that he admits that he is gay because most gays just hide in the closet and dont admit it.
