Well, I put Fate in the Superstition category. So that makes me pretty darn stupid.

What is the superstition or belief that you attach to fate?

My mother thinks that when she bangs her elbow she has to bang the other one for equilibrium otherwise she will have bad luck, that's a superstition, believing in fate does not hold to a superstition.

No because if her fate is to crash in the airplane she is taking next week that has a faulty engine then banging or not banging her elbow will not affect that, her being late and missing the plane would but that would be fate that she was supposed to miss the plane that crashed and she survived.

Hmmm, OK I'll give you that then, only because I just did the maths on the age thing. But if the only reason was you are American then that would not have been a valid reason now would it?

i dont really do superstition coz im too lazy 😛 .. but there are things i will not mess with (atleast not yet) quija for example.. graveyards pentagrams.. a sceance (i think thats how you spell it) but i would wish to try. if i knew more.. i donot wish to mess with things until i understand more

Say you pluck off a new bud on a tree, that eventually in 30 years could be a large branch. I believe that somehow, there's a set future with what we haven't done yet, if nature takes its course, but if we interfiere and take that bud away, that branch could vanish from the future, say if anyone hit their head on it, they wouldn't anymore! Or no tree swing, etc. Just a weird thought I had one day 🙂
