After reading some of the posts in this thread I am suprised at some of the folks that I missed and who some have chose as their best or worst.

Best

Halle Berry - Yes catwoman was an epic film-making achievement, she is way over-rated and way to go on squandering an oscar

Orlando Bloom - captain cardboard, if it wasn’t for his teenage girl fanbase he wouldn’t be able to get a job

Kate Hudson - I thought she just acted like goldie hawn? Cute but talentless.

Tim Roth - I have to admit I’m surprised I forgot to put him on my list, he’s topshelf

Sigourney Weaver - Once again, my bad for missing her on my best list, she’s even good in bad movies

Drew Barrymore -this is a joke right? Are we talking about the same Drew Barrymore that was in Charlie’s angels and a load of other crapcake movies?

Jerry Lewis - Never found him funny, only thing he was good doing was acting like a total jerk-off, oh wait, he wasn’t acting

David Schwimmer - you may like him, but I can’t see comparing him to peter o’toole or ed norton

Lindsay Lohan - sorry, can’t type, I’m laughing too hard, this chick can’t act and can’t sing. She’s a prefabricated celeb who’s 15 minutes are ticking away rather quickly.

Sarah Michelle Gellar - uhhmmmmmm….no

Alyson Hannigan - cute, but being cute does not a great actor make

Sean Penn - I agree, he’s a great actor, although he sucked in “I am Sam”

Robert De Niro - some great stuff in the past, but he’s starting to rest on his laurels

Gary Oldman - I agree, this man steals every scene he’s in

Joaquin Phoenix - this guy only gets better and better

Ray Liota - unbelievably under-rated

Steve Buscemi - One of the best character actors of all time
Hilary Duff & Raven Symone - Are you serious? Oh sorry, you must have had a lobotomy or be addicted to crack, my bad.

Worst

Dolph Lundgren - reaches new levels of suckiness with every role

kurk Russell - I am assuming that you mean Kurt Russell. I have to disagree here, but I will say theat there is no other actor who can act so well in one movie, and so poorly in another. He was awesome in Vanilla Sky and a few other movies

Madonna - I wonder if lipsynchs her movie lines too?

you dont need to say male actor.. actor is male actress is female

actors theres a lot of greats i think natalie portman is at the top of actresses

Actually most females are preferring to be called actors now instead of actresses because they feel the word "actress" is less empowering and choose not to be categorized by gender.

Best:
Johnny Depp- being mature and putting to one side that he is a god, he always puts in an amazing performance- no matter if the movie was bad.

Anthony Hopkins- always great, maybe a little dramatic but you cant really fault his performances.

Gary Oldman- Has shone in the roles i have seen him in.

Ed Norton- Same as Oldman.

Winona Ryder- One of the few good actresses in Hollywood.

Alan Rickman- Pure greatness.

Worst:
Orlando Bloom- Played the same character in LOTR and POTC and he was AWFUL in Troy.

Julia Roberts- Aagh! Whay? Just Why?

Keanu Reeves- Words can't describe how terrible an actor he is.

There are more for each list but i cant think of anymore at the moment.
Looking at the other lists I'm more than slightly shocked at some of the choices. Hilary Duff, Hugh Grant, Sarah Michelle Gellar... in the BEST actors list? How on earth can that be possible? What has the beauty of acting and cinema become?
