It's all explained within the Mini's that he appears in. Scott Washington (Was originally a Guardsman assigned to watch the Symbiote's holding cells after their capture at the end of Seperation Anxiety). Scott saw the scientists operating on them and felt sorry for the Symbiotes knowing that they never intended to do anything bad, if they already had, anyways. When they break out and try to escape, Scott gets in their way (after they've all merged into one Symbiote) and decides to let them go. Later, the Symbiotes seek him out as their host, knowing that he is a nice guy and has good intentions (they say time and time again to Scott that they refuse to kill anyone and don't want to become like Venom or Carnage). After that, Scott helps out the Symbiotes by being their host and supplying them with everything they need, in exchange for power and the ability to fight back against the Easy X's (the gang who shot his brother and paralysed him (which brings up another thing, the Symbiotes, when bonded to him, give him the ability to walk)).
kiekan - That project of yours sounds bloody brilliant. Best of luck.
re: Phage - My fault, I was going on information from SpiderFan.org which listed the Life Foundation symbiotes by those names.
Lineage - Interesting... so technically there are only three genetic lines as far as symbiote characters are concerned: Venom, Zeena, and George. Of those, only Venom has produced any spawn, which includes six normal children, one mutant child, and one clone.
ouch.
sound painful. if i remember correctly, the critter bit em right in the head. heres a thought though. if 2 symbiotes survived the invasion and wee missied by carnage, in a city the size of new york, then a handful had to have also survived.
i'm a little confused on how their relationship with their host's would be. if i remember, venom was exiled because it wanted to bond and have a mutual exisence, while the others wanted to take control of their host, use then dispose of them. and does anyone remember the AWFUL art from that mini series. all the symbiotes had regular clothing on over them, and they had regualr human hair, and glassess etc. it was whack. if only someone could draw something to give it true justice as it should look....keikan you rock the cazba
-bows- Thanks.
Yeah, Phage bites the upper part of their heads off (just above the eyes), leaving the rest to rot. Well, in Venom - The Hunted, in which George and Zeena make their appearences (along with Phage, of course), they are working with Donna/Scream and trying to learn to control their others. Not only this, but they are looking for other people with the same problem, to help them out too.
As for why the Venom Symbiote was exiled, it was because the others regarded it as insane for doing what you described. Apparently, (this is never explained, and is just speculation) it seems that all of the Venom Symbiote's offspring share the same want to bond to their host for the pleasure of it, rather than taking over. (There are some exceptions, such as the whole Spider-Carnage and Carnage Cosmic incidents.)
Well I described my thoughts on the subject of texture (both seperate and bonded to you) in the other thread titled 'Symbiote Texture'. But yeah, the Venom Symbiote bonded with its host for the pleasure of it. It learned things and gained emotions and what not, besides it created a relationship with its host (whether the host realized it or not). As opposed to other Symbiotes, who would just bond to take over. The host does what ever the Symbiote forces it to. That'd be the end of it.

I take it the mutant you're talking about is Hybrid, right?
And since you brought it up, we may as well cover...
Symbiote Fates
Venom - Still alive way in the future
Carnage - Consumed by Venom, Negative Zone replacement still alive at present
Scream - Still alive at present
Remaining Life Foundation Symbiotes - Merged into...
• Hybrid - Still alive at present
Zeena's Symbiote - Dead, eaten by Phage
George's Symbiote - Dead, eaten by Phage
Patricia's Symbiote - Still alive at present
Feel free to correct me, I'm working off of unverified sources here.
