I'm trying to figure out the gay marriage thing myself. I think they deserve the right to be together and have the same benefits as a marriage, but there is religious things that don't seem right with it. A marriage ceremony is a celebration of bonding 2 people by God. Plus, a preacher is brought in to perform these ceremonies against their beliefs. Obviously these preachers agree to do this, but it doesn't seem right to me for them to. But then again, who are we to say they can't get married.
yeah, but firstly, it's not our lives...i mean, you know bob and frank? theyre both guys and their getting married....you dont know them?? well then why tell them they cant get married...its not like them getting married has anything to do with your life...so why take away the one thing thats gonna make them the happiest! its not like ur gonna feel any better about it, infact if anything (if u actually have feelings) u should feel worse b/cause your ruining their life, acheiving NOTHING in yours!
and about the religious thing, its the same....just b/cause its against their religion 4 gay marriages, dont mean they have 2 ban it! if its against their religion, then DONT DO IT! but dont wreck otha ppls lives coz of wat u beleive in! what about ppl whos religion it's against to celebrate christmas....to celebrate easter...to celebrate birthdays....for females to show any skin esept their faces....ppl still do it dont they?? and it has no effect whatso eva on tha ppl whos reigion it's agains!!! the government or whoeva is just thinkin of bannin it coz he can, what a f.uckin ass!

Nothing personal taken. Like I said, I don't know myself because we really shouldn't be in their way. But its kind of weird that priests perform the marriages knowing full well that its against their religion. Its more the ceremony to me than the actual fact that they are married. I just don't think priests should be doing the ceremonies. I'm not very religious or anything, but I think people should follow their beliefs, whatever they are, and priests performing these ceremonies aren't doing what they believe in.
well...if the preist dont want to do it then no, they shouldnt...but if they dont mind, then why not do it! most religions people dont even want to be that religion...just coz of wereva they were born or there parents are or their parents want them to be! ppl should do wateva they want....to some extent!
Most preists want to be religious though. They are doing it to be nice, but at the same time going against something they believe which I think is wrong. If you think its right, thats fine. But as a religious figure, priests should not be openly "sinning" like that knowing full well what they are doing is wrong (in their belief system). If they are going to go against their beliefs, they shouldn't even be priests.

i completely agree with raven guardia...its perfectly normal....friends of mine..girls and guys have been slightly attracted to the same sex...but they're straight....i mean...sum of my friends (whom r girls) have told me that they've kissed girls b4....but its just experimenting cr@p.....
