Van saw Vlad come over head of the water on his broom. He shook his head.

"Why you always gotta be the hero Vlad!! This is my mess, I'll clear it up!!" Van said grinning and giving Vlad a wink.

He dived under the water and swam. He used a charm one of the proffessors had help him make giving him certain limbs from anmals. He created a mer-tail and spead through the water. He also cast a bubblehead charm. The mer-folk were swimming round and round the squid. Van called out to them. They drew back and Van went over to the squid swimming around it. The tentacles flailed about at him and he swam in close. He climbed on to the head part of it and cast the petrificus totalus on it.

Diving back into the water he swam to shore coming out his legs turning normal again. Everyone stared at him in disbelief. Some angry and saying that was cruel others that it was cool. He quickly put his clothes back on and whistled Vlad over.

"Sorry 'bout that buddy. I'm just tryin' to train for the tourney." Van said patting Vlad's back.

"But take it easy on the merpeaple" chuckled Vlad. " And I flew over on the broom not to only help you... I need to get GillyWeed! I told CHo I had some and Ill give her some but I dont! Anyway im going to get a swim in the lake and see if I can find any" said Vlad friendly as he got undressed so only his boxers would be seen and Used the bubblehead spell and dived in.

Vlad came out of the water in 30 minutes with two hand full of gilly weeds, He put them in a can and put it in his bag. He got dressed and said "Whew I had to meet a couple of grindouls... Couple of nasty merpeaple... Plus dont mentiont he squid who was P*ssed after you provoked him" said Vlad sighing "But I got the gilly weed!" and Vlad started doing the victory dance.

Cho came over to Vlad.

VLad suddenly stopped his Victory dance and said "Hey"

"Hey" said Cho.

"So Hey I have some gilly weed" sais Vlad as he plays around with his wet hair a little.

"Thanks," said Cho. She pushed back a strand of her raven black hair.

"No problem, Sooo met at Hogsmead tonight, 8 o'clock?" asked Vlad.

Jules spotted Van from a distance. She flew over to him on her broom and smiled, stopping in front of him, "Hey there... haven't seen you much lately."

"Of course." She flashed a white smile at Vlad.

"And if you need any more help in the essay ill be in the library!" said Vlad as he waved and skipped down to hogwarts.

"Ok," said Cho.

"Hey Jules. Yeah I've kinda been keepin' to myself lately. This tournament's kinda takin' alot outta me. But anwyays I'll see you in the common room tonight or something. We can talk then?" Van said joggin off towards the forest waving to Jules.

Vlad changed his skipping direction and jogged off into the forest too. Another part of the forest not the one Van was jogging too. Vlad wanted to practice his magic.

Jules tried to smile as she waved goodbye. Something was obviously going on with him lately. She was going to have to find out on her on because he was obviously not going to tell her. But not tonight... Tonight she had other stuff to do.
