Sinister rolls -1; another miss, and now Cloud finally gets an attack.

Tyr will Fox's Retreat that- far too nasty! Ares, you roll +2, but it's short. Tyr responds with a Breath of the Dragon kick, modified with Hands without Shadow.

Khali rolls +2 for a 17... dead on. After a sudden flurry of blows, Khali twists you around, the knife at your throat, Mors. She grins nastily at San... whose move it now is.

No no no!

Learned Tutor's Block!

Mors does not move. "Khali," he says rather hoarsely, her knife at his throat, his head bent back. "Talk to me, Khali. Why are you doing this? If I am going to die, you might as well tell me what happened with the Bounty..."

Tyr rolls -4! That's not much good; you got the block, Ares!

Khali does not talk. She just continues to smile nastily at San.

"So you are just going to be sick and twisted then, Khali?" Mors says.

She just ignores you, Mors. Khali's not like the others you've met.

(Apparently not...)

Ares flips Tyr to the ground with Two Lotus Push.

Okay, so I need to make Khali take an action...

Vengeance of the Butterfly, followed by Grasshopper Sweep.

(Mors, why don't you have any powers that'll get you out of a hold...)

Well, no-one can cover ALL the bases, of course...

Tyr will take a Fox's Retreat dodge there... Ares, you roll +4 again... that is in! Tyr is on the ground.

Khali actively refuses the dodge, San. Your first attack is a +6... a clear hit! Six more damage to Khali. Your second attack rolls evens- a miss.

Khali, noting that San is not going to be slowed by her hostage taking, uses Wing of the Crane, twisting Mors again and smashing him into the cargo elevator doors. Rolled outcome is a 4, which makes the final damage from the throw 8. Mors is on 47 damage and a new death check- he rolls evens, which is a fail...

Ares, happy to get Tyr on the ground, unleashes another Lightning Fist, in hopes that Tyr cannot dodge.

Mors smashes into the cargo elevator doors, hits the ground, and lays still. He ponders "Why bother getting up? Why keep fighting?"

You must keep fighting for the good of your friends... Mors thinks, then rises slowly to his feet, clutching his katana.

(Fortune point now in use! San, get in the elevator!)

He opens the cargo elevator door, pounding the button with his fist.

Khali is between San and the elevator...

You cannot afford another Lightning Fist, Ares! And you know Tyr can dodge.

Ares leaps down upon Tyr, fist extended (Swoop of the Dragon).
