The long wait!

Things I do during LOTR

1. Stand up halfway through the movie and yell loudly, "Wait... where the hell is Harry Potter?"

2. Block the entrance to the theater while screaming: "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" - After the movie, say "Lucas could have done it better."

3. Play a drinking game where you have to take a sip every time someone says: "The Ring."

4. Point and laugh whenever someone dies.

5. Ask everyone around you if they think Gandalf went to Hogwarts.

6. Finish off every one of Elrond's lines with "Mr. Anderson."

7. When Aragorn is crowned king, stand up and at the top of your lungs sing, "And I did it.... MY way...!"

8. Talk like Gollum all through the movie. At the end, bite off someone's finger and fall down the stairs.

9. Dress up as old ladies and reenact "The Battle of Helms Deep" Monty Python style.

10. When Denethor lights the fire, shout "Barbecue!"

11. In TTT when the Ents decide to march to war, stand up and shout "RUN FOREST, RUN!"

12. Every time someone kills an Orc, yell: "That's what I'm Tolkien about!" See how long it takes before you get kicked out of the theatre.

13. During a wide shot of a battle, inquire, "Where's Waldo?"

14. Talk loudly about how you heard that there is a single frame of a nude Elf hidden somewhere in the movie.

15. Start an Orc sing-a-long.

16. Come to the premiere dressed as Frankenfurter and wander around looking terribly confused.

17. When they go in the paths of the dead, wait for tense moment and shout, "I see dead people!"

18. Imitate what you think a conversation between Gollum, Dobby and Yoda would be like.

19. Release a jar of daddy-long-legs into the theater during the Shelob scene.

20. Wonder out loud if Aragorn is going to run for governor of California.

21. When Shelob comes on, exclaim, "Man! Charlotte's really let herself go

As for episode 3 I'll see it first day, first showing Just so I can see a duel between Anakin and Obi that doesnt suck

when I was 9 my dad took me to see ESB and I fell in love with SW
3 years later and RotJ came out and I wanted more, but I had to wait until TMP for that.
during that wait i immersed myself in Star Trek ..........

and when Lucas returned with the special editions then ST looked like a poor relation in comparison...apart from Star Trek First Contact which is a fantastic movie, and is better than TMP thats my opinion of course.

to end the ramble I think that GL has created the prequels as a trilogy of stories similar to LotR, three sections of one story and I believe that EPIII will place him on a par with Tolkien, every element of the trilogies has been a deliberate stitch in the tapestry that GL is creating.
We will have to wait until May 05 to see its magnificence in full.

I know it's an ep3 room but someone mentioned LOTR, any way is it just me or did the years from ep1 to ep2 seem to last forever.

episode 3 will be packed.

thank god i got cousins working at the movie theatre.

when ep2 came out i saw a screening of it in chicago were i am from and man it was crowded as hell.

To me it was forever between all of them. 😉

These past 2 years have gone by quite quickly for me, but this year, because it's the last one will probably go by long.

That's what I've been saying, I'm just so anxious that even a day seems long, but hey, it'll be here and part of the anticipation is waiting.

Yeah, the release of the title really boosted the anticipation level for me.

Right now I'm waiting for the OT DVD to come out, then I can see the episode 3 disc. Next will be the trailer to come out in november. Does anybody know exactly when in november it comes out? What movie will it be attached to?

I remember when the the TPM trailer came attached to 'Meet Mr. Black.' I had the good fortune of taping it when it was aired on ET. I sure as hell hope that the ROTS trailer is attached to a GOOD movie.

I don't care what it's attached to, I just want to see it!!! 😱 lol

I remember that a bunch of people bought a ticket to 'Meet Mr. Black,' watched the trailer and then promptly left. At least the Episode 2 trailer was attached to LOTR.
