"Understood. Please transmit your clearance code."

Gundark looked at Lance. "The only way we're going to get close is on foot. We'd never get through their radar web by transport."

"I'm willing to go on foot. It can't be to far."

Another shot fires from one of the energy cannons. It bounces harmlessly off the shields again.

"I wonder why they bother?" says Arleth.

Mah walks around, looking at life, basically just waiting for the new Jedi to arrive. (I do know that she'll arrive right?)
''Verlaine, do you think they will find any new info, or interesting things at the front line?''

"Normally I would say they would find nothing. But twice now I have been amazed by the skill and capabilities of you Jedi."

(Yes I assume you know that Sieri is coming)

CURRENT LOCATIONS: (A new regular feature! Which I suspect we will end up needing...)

GUNDARK: Front lines near K'rra Chi
LANCE: Ditto
PHINNEAS: Ditto
KAG: Unclear
MAH: Damagran capital (it HAS a name, which has currently slipped my mind)
SIERI: Approaching the blockade

''Yes, and the Jedi there are very much qualified for the task. If anyone can find anything, it must be them..''

"Yes, yes, indeed..." says Verlaine. "Tell me, young Knight... what do you think Master Gundark's plans will be once she sees the occupation of K'rra Chi? I know your orders, but I cannot believe that you people have truly come hrre just to recover one of your own, and do nothing else to help us at all. Grateful that I am for your intervention, of course..."

''Yes a Knight is what I am, I just follow the orders from the JC and Master Gundark.''

Back to the front:

Lance starts to lead the group to the shielded city of K'rra Chi. He makes sure the group brings along all of the needed supplies.

"Excuse me sir," says the battery commander, Lance. "I hate to make comment, sir, but I wouldn't recommend that. We're sited some fifty metres out of the effective attack range of their larger guns, sir. Their heat sensors will pick up your trace if you get much closer and they'll open fire on you."

"That's if their air cover doesn't tale them out," says one of his men. The battery commander shakes his head.

"Virtually their entire air force is flying sweeps over the jungle. But you people will be spotted, all the same."

OOC:AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Sieri: "transmiting clearance code now..."
*gives them code and hopes it works*

Your clearance code is accepted. You can almost feel the jealous stares from the pilots caught up in the queue as your are giuven priority to sail past all of them.

You can quickly make your descent down to the capitial city, where the pro-Republican leader Verlaine, and Mah will be waiting for you.

*Sieri lets out the breath she didn't even know she'd been holding*
"and now if I can only find a parking space in this crazy place....I'll be alright"

"I hope those guys are ok..."*remembers Jedi are supposed to be serene at all times...*

The landing area you have been assigned is rather large and spacious, and would be quite pleasing if it were not for the obvious makrs of a battle that has taken place there recently. Strange, you;re hundreds of miles away from the fighting.

You are parking next to a big red Republican cruiser; presumably the one that conveyed Gubdark here.

"How clumsy of me," says Lance "If you would be so kind as to suggest another way to get to the city.

"I'm sure if any of us could tell you that," says the battery commander, "we'd get in there ourselves. They send the odd party down to the walls at night but they never get in."

Gundark studied the distant city. "We need a very long tunnel," she mumbled to herself.

"What was that Master?"

"I mean, it's a siege, that's the thing," says the battery commander, as another pointless shot fires from the laser cannons. "Nothing gets in, nothing gets out. I can introduce you to our man who leads the parties down there, if you want."
