USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

Okay - we've got phinney. It would appear we are all dressed in the standard Jedi garb, Ush.

Xeth, being blocked out of the conversation, chose this time to look around, being ever mindful of the living Force and the things around him. He looks about the buildings, and spotted two destroyer droids. "Hey, look up there! Droidekas!" he whispered to Lance and Kiel, pointing in the direction of the droids.

"Do not point friend Xeth, that will only alert them to our presence."

(Not many droidekas outside as yet, though as you are near an entrance to the palace (as yerss could tell you) its not THAT unlikely.)

Okidokey, Gundy, Mah, and Phin, you;re in the lower cargo levels of the palace, where now?

-

Faylar does not know who you are, Xeth, so he is not sure what to say to you yet.

"Do we have any sort of deal?" he asks.

"Not unless you release Yerssot Rancume into the custody of the Galactic Republic Jedi Knights." Lance says with a hint of urgency to his voice.

"That will happen when you Jedi remove your illegal presence from the Damagran Confederacy, and no sooner," says Faylar. "If you are not willing to agree to that then he have something of an impasse."

"Tell me, how is it that our presence here is illegal? We had the clearance to be here."

Faylar laughs.

"REPUBLICAN clearance means nothing here! This is not Republic territory!"

There is a beeping noise. Arashan and Krisha both reach for their DNA senosrs

(which I don't think the LS knows about yet; Balek took one from the corpses of the people massacred last night... yerss can full you in)

"Quam!" says Arashan. "Lower levels. Garbage area."

"Damn it..." says Krisha.

"Take care of him! Quickly!" says Faylar, and he is emitting a clear flush of fear, yerss.

"What about him?" asks Krisha, pointing to yerssot. Faylar stares at him for a moment.

"Last chance," says Faylar, down the comms. "Do we have a deal?"

"Give me a few moments to think about this. It is a major decision you know." Lance says into the comm unit.

He then turns to his fellow Jedi.

"What do you think we should do? Any comments would be welcomed at this point."

Lance then waits for one of the two men to answer.

Kiel turns off the 'send' function on the communicator.

"He's a desperate man, don't push him," he says. "No matter how stupid it would be of him to kill a Jedi he may just do it if he thinks he must. And if Quam is inside the palace there is no telling WHAT Faylar will do now. But if he is distracted... we can tell him we are willing to deal but maybe he won;t work out the exact detaisl RIGHT away... which guives us time."

He turns the 'send' function back on.

Meanwhile, Ithrorn is running this way.

Lance notices Ithrorn coming their way as Keil is turning on the send function on the communication unit.

"Faylar, we are now willing to deal."

Lance watches as Ithrorn gets ever closer. He feels urgency in him.

Yerssot, you can feel Faylar's mind pulled in the way of a person who has a thousand things to do, all of them urgent.

"Right," says Faylar. "Stay there. I will send someone to meet you and talk this over further." He turns off the link.

Ithrorn runs over and tells you guys that Gundy, Mah and Phinney are inside, but there was no way he could follow.

-

Yerss-

"KILL Quam," says Faylar, first. Arashan and Krisha nod, and hurry off to the lifts.

"Someone get me Shareth. Its' vital that we activate all the droids immediately! Is the control unit in the palace?"

"Yes, sir," says a flunky.

"That's something, at least. Get 20 droids and escort this damn Jedi somewhere lower down!"

Lance then shuts off the unit as he listens to what Ithrorn has to say.

"How did they get inside? That had to have been a hard thing to do."

"That Hutt doesn't seem too choosy about what is in the crates of droids," says Ithrorn. "And luckily, Faylar is so desperate to get the crates in I guess he hasn't been checking them! My only worry is that they end up locked in some cargo hold."

"We had better come up with a plan," says Kiel. "Faylar's men will be here soon."

''Maybe we should try and get to a higher level of the palace, Master Gundark, or what do you think?''

"Over there, mah, to the turbo-lift. I think our best direction would be up," Gundark directed. She sensed different presences in the Force, shifting about inside the Palace walls. They were going to run into someone up there, good or bad.

Simple cargo lifts, these. Security around here is relatively light. But among the myriads of crates you can hear the occasional metallic clatter of patrolling battle droids.

The lift leads up to the bottom of the main area. This is INCREDIBLY busy. People are running around everywhere, trying to get things done- mostly menial grades down here.

There are six levels of balconies above you. Stairs link each level but there is security on each one.

"Do you think we should take out Faylar's men when they get here and then we go find Master Gundark and her companions? Or should we just leave now?"

"If we kill Faylar's men then he will kill yerrsot for sure," says Kiel. "And his droids cannot be influenced by the Force."

Kiel thinks.

"I'll talk to them. Keep them busy. They'll be suspicious that you have gone but I'll make sure that's not a problem. You must go and find another way in! And fast!"

(OOC: So me and Xeth and Ithrorn are leaving now?)
