Gundark obeyed Kiel's directive to stay put and fought the urge to try to re-join the battle with him and Xeth. Obviously the rest of their Jedi companions had failed to located Faylar. These battle droids have to be stopped... She decided to take a shot in the dark. She pulled out her comlink, adjusted the frequency and, hiding the exhaustion in her voice, spoke. "Faylar ? This is Kellan Gundark. Do you copy ?" The pain in her back had gone strangely numb and she suppressed a shiver. Dammit Faylar, answer me...
Gundy, the returning channel is opened, but you can hardly hear a thing above the screaming, the whir of sabres, and the familar noise of queeq's tommy gun.
Xeth, your upwards going is slow, rather winded as you are.
"XETH!" cries out Kiel. He is best at all sides trying to protect Gundark, with two droidekas and some fifteen droids blasting away at him. His sabre whirls and whirls in a blinding web of defensive play but he has fallen back as far as he can go now.

Lance, Phinney has made it to you!
Xeth looks down at Kiel. My friends, or the mission... Xeth unholsters his sonic blaster and charges up a large shot. He fires and it hits a crowd of droids near Kiel. He repeats this manuever until the droids begin to back down a little. He fires again and again at the droids, charging up and firing, charging up and firing. He then shouts "Heads up Master Kiel!" and tosses the sonic blaster to him. He then begins his accent again.
"Faylar !" Gundark shouted into the com. "You've got to de-activate the droid control !!! We can protect you from your enemies but you've got to get these damned droids off of us !! They're out of control !!" She watched Kiel slash at the blaster bolts which came pounding at them. Her strength had left her; she was useless to him and it fueled her frustration. "Faylar ! Do you copy ?!!!!"
