Ok, queeq, you are on the far right of the toom. Just below you, droids are walking in single file through a narrow door every few seconds. Furhter to the left the crates become a bit too high to handle jumping onto, buty you can see a fair bit of the maze of corridors caused by tyhe crates from here, many of which are full of droids. You can hear the hum of sabres in the background. Above you are cranes and lifting arms hanging from the ceiling.
Faylar will be trying to get to the stairs out of here, and has a fair start on that. You cannot see the stairs from here.
Problem there, Rex.
Climbing up the lift is not simple. For example you, have to remove the piece you just cut out without it burning you, which is not eay, and then it is an awkward climb up (no WAY you could force jump up there).
You could do this if you could concentrate fully on it. But you can't, because Lance is not doing as much as he could to cover you. In fact, you are trapped in here because Lance fully controls whether you ccan climb up or get out.
Now you think about it, the plan couldn;t have worked anyway. How could Lance have possibly climbed up after you? There was no-one to cover him!
Gald begins to use the Force to push the piece he just cut from the lift, but he decides not to. He begins to feel that his magnificent plan won't work. He turns to Lance, and begins to talk.
"You know Jedi, I did this to start off my brilliant plan, a brilliant plan that I know won't work. My little plan was to get on top of the lift, have you get in the lift, I cling onto the wall, and then blow up the lift. But no. I've realized that there was fault in my plan, and now I can't go through with it. It won't work!"
Gald ignites his lightsabers again, having deactivated them after deciding his plan wouldn't work. He then charges at the Jedi Knight, and slashes at him.
As another squad of droids passes by, Quam slips quitely behind follows them quietly for a bit. And just as he catches a glimp of Faylar heading to one side of the room, he hears a famliar "Roger roger" behind him. A sound silenced in less than a second as the troop commander and four of his buddies get hacked in little pieces by Quam' sabres. He flips backward into a small alcove few metres up between the crates. there he catches another glimpse of Faylar.
"Excellent" Quam thought, "Chion's opening the way." Faylar's fleeing men are easy targets as they rush along. Heads and body parts roll as Quam meets up with them. It seems all control and guard is gone. Chion's presence has them on the run and decimating them along the way to Faylar is all too easy. But Quam is making progress...
Okidokey, queeq, here is how it has been working:
Faylar's group has been making its way headlong down to the other side of the room, where the stairs to freedom are. (As an aside, Kuylen SHOULD be guarding those stairs but the presence of Argentis and just about ALL the other Light Side players has forced him away for now).
Faylar has been sending small amounts of guards and droids back at a time to slow Chion down. Chion has been happliy cutting them down and is proceeding at this own pace; as to whether he will get to Faylar first, or if Faylar will escape... that's a tough call.
You have just intercepted Faylar's bodyguard from the side, though at this very moment Faylar himself is not in sight. If you have any ideas on tactics plase say; if you wish to just fight through then that is fine as well.
But... you sense danger nearby. It HAS to be one of the Jedi, though it is not a presence you have felt before.
Ok, Rex, you throw yourself out of the way of the crates- also away from Lance- and onto the ground nearby.
Which puts you in a bad position when you start being fired at. Someome, from high up, is firing a very rapid succession of HIGHLY accurate shots at you; green-coloured shots rather than the red of the droids.
The figure is moving DOWNWARDS, which surprises you enough for your deflected shots to go wide.
The large man in worn clothing now descending from a harness attached to the crates, and dropping to the ground, has untidy hair and a scar across his right eye which makes it look half-closed all the time. All the way as he descends he keeps you under intense fire; he lands just by the pile of fallen crates and continues to fire.
